I mean, at this price, you can be in the field on a shoot and know that you have more than you ever need. I timed these and the run my small CX 405 for 1.5 hrs. So this Batmax 4-pack will give you 6 hrs of power. Add that to the batt(s) you already have and you can rest easy and focus on the footage rather than the batt level indicator. I've been using these for a year now, pretty heavily, with no problem. I don't notice any difference in battery life from the original Sony battery, nor have I seen any fall-off in battery life with repeated use. The charger works fine, even with the Sony battery, and being able to charge two at once from any USB power supply, especially in the car, is very convenient. ... show more

The batteries will only give about an hour or 2 or charge before being dead. I don't think its an issue with crappy batteries though as the Sony battery does the same thing and I do have the camera configured for Max quality. Might just be the way it is. I will say it was nice to see all the batteries came with a plastic case. The instructions for the charger are great. Don't forget to unplug when done charging batteries. Charging time, I can't say as I just plug it in and go to bed. But everything appears good and high quality. ... show more

Fit like a charm in my Sony camera. As a fire inspector I can burn through batteries and this was a economical choice over buying more from Sony. I think they might actually last longer between charges although I haven’t down a side by side comparison with a timer. Buy them, you won’t be disappointed. ... show more

I use my Sony Camcorder every weekend for up to four hours at a time. The battery supplied just doesn't last that long. So, I needed multiple batteries to switch out at intervals and an easy way of charging them up quickly. This does the trick !!!
