  • Best insecticide solution, hands down
Size: 7.05 oz
I bought this in 2023 for a German roach issue. Not only did it kill German roaches, but NOTHING of the insect variety gets past this stuff. It lasts forever and still work as great as when I first purchased. HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for an insecticide solution.

  • Kills springtails
Size: 0.35 oz packet (5 count)
If you've found this review because springtails have invaded your house and you've realized almost nothing kills them, I'm sorry. When I first moved into my place, I discovered it had a massive springtail problem (as in, I killed *hundreds* everywhere every single day). This area had apparently been a thickly wooded forest before they built the complex. They also insist on having flower beds with wood chips surrounding the outside of each building, as well as running the sprinklers every night, which creates a nice damp home for things to breed in (fyi, if this doesn't match your living situation at all, you may instead have a leak somewhere that's creating an ideal home for the springtails, so check for that). My complex's pest control was useless, no matter how many times they came out. I tried diatomaceous earth in crevices, but I think I would have needed to sprinkle it literally everywhere to kill them all, which wasn't an option. Enter Alpine WSG. I'm not going to say it's my favorite thing ever to do my own pest control, but using these granules is pretty easy. Just invest in a decent pesticide sprayer and pesticide-safe gloves, dress in long sleeves and pants, follow the mixing directions, and start spritzing. I usually treat at least a 2-3 foot perimeter around the outside of my house with liberal soaking of the piles of woodchips. I'll repeat this every few weeks about 3 or so times starting in spring, and they'll stop popping up inside completely afterward and will be rare to see outside for 4-6+ months. I have 20 lbs dogs, and this has been fine to use around them. Just wait a few hours before letting pets outside to make sure it all dries first. I also sometimes use the spray inside in select spots, and it appears to be very long-lasting. I've unfortunately found some roaches inside recently, despite being very clean (the complex says they're "wood roaches," but I'm dubious), but all of them were either dead or dying next to spots I'd previously sprayed. It had been a few months and multiple moppings since I last sprayed inside, so I decided to put down a fresh coat to nip the problem in the bud, and that seems to have done it. I haven't found anything inside but one dead centipede (did I mention it's not just springtails that live in the woodchips?) since. Fyi, I've found that Alpine doesn't kill most spiders, no matter the size (we have both tiny house spiders and very big ones -- wolf? grass? --here), so you will need something else for those. I also have had mixed results with the earwigs that wander in sometimes. They do eventually die, but I can't say for sure if that's the spray or their natural life cycle; they always seem pretty lively whenever I find them. As for ants, I have never had a problem with them because Alpine is incredibly effective against them. While the complex and my direct neighbor have sometimes had a big ant problem, when I've found groups of them by my place, they've already all curled up and died before they made it within two feet of my front door. This spray also does kill crickets, which is not my intention, but if you have a big problem with them, this would work. While I can't say if it's due to the Alpine, my dogs' own flea treatments, or just pure luck, I've also never had a flea problem in my yard or house. ... show more

  • the bugs are gone :)
Size: 0.35 oz packet (1 count)
Before I bought this, I would see a dozen bugs in my kitchen every morning, so I kept my kitchen clean and put away my cat's food at night but that didn't help, and they were starting to spread to the living room area in my apartment. I mixed and sprayed this insecticide on March 28th, 2026 under the fridge and the stove. The few bugs that do show up 3 days later are dying. I am going to use the other half of the packet soon to make sure they do not come back. I have been limited to spraying in places my cat cannot reach, but I think it works well. Update: April 7th, 2026 I am unable to find any bugs in my kitchen at any time of day. I will probably need to spray again, but I am happy with this product. ... show more

  • 2 words - COCKROACH GENOCIDE
Size: 0.35 oz packet (1 count)
When I moved into my first home, we had a bit of a roach issue. During home inspections, we negotiated the replacement of some flooring and crawl space joists due to termite damage as well as treatment for that, and my theory is that the spray they used was incredibly effective at killing roaches in the crawl space, but drove the nests under the floor upwards, right at the same time that they opened up the floor. Pro termite poison (Terminix) is pretty much nuclear on roaches too, but not safe for interior use whatsoever. Now when I say we had roaches...we had DOZENS of them. In the garage, in pretty much every room randomly, and especially near the area of the repair. A full blown infestation, all happening between the time we paid for our house and the time we moved in. We were not happy at all. My wife was about to sign us up for a $1000+ yearly contract to get continuous treatment, but a quick conversation with chatGPT and some digging on reddit pointed me towards this stuff and some other cheap products like gels & IGF disks. But this is the stuff that actually kills them, the other things are more for continuity and to prevent future re-infestations. I only used 1 packet for my entire 2000sqft house, spraying all over the interior & the porch and around the exterior. I heard it works very well, but I was amazed with just how well it worked. And do mind, I did try big box store sprays that costed $5 more than this at first too, and the roaches avoided touching it (probably because it had an odor). They never saw this coming. I remember the garage was a super hot spot, and I'd see at least 3 a day in there. I sprayed this stuff before the night and went to bed, and honest to god there was 30 dead roaches in there the next day. Our house looked like a roach graveyard, every little bugger that touched a surface it was on would keel over within about 20 feet max. I witnessed a couple of them after the initial massacre come from the ceiling down, and you could tell they didn't sense it like they did with the big box poison and try to avoid it. They'd march right over it, then start to slow down, and then violently twitch to death. Never had any health issues myself from it nor did my dogs or cats, and they seemed to avoid eating the roaches that were poisoned by it - not sure if there's something in it that deters them or not. It's now been 8 months since I treated the house, and I haven't seen a single roach inside in 6 months, and I saw 1 a week tops after the first week of treatment, and they always died on their own. They say this stuff doesn't work great outside, but I still occasionally find dead roaches on my wooden porch, even after lots of rain and snow. This stuff is magical and I will use it forever - it's a silent killer and the roaches seem to have no idea it exists. Oh, and I haven't seen any other type of bug survive it either. We occasionally would get an odd wasp or ant in the house; haven't seen a live once since applying, even months later. I only ever find them dead on the floor. ONE CAVIAT - stink bugs seem to know it exists. They avoid the floor like the plague, but just being in it's vicinity seems to cause them to freeze up. There was once what I thought was a dead stink bug on my window sill and I went to remove it 3 weeks later (yes I know that's lazy) and it was still alive, just very slow. I have noticed ants and spiders tend to avoid even coming in the house since applying it. Good, we can both keep to our own domains. Roaches and wasps and moths happily come in, but die shortly after contacting any surface it's on. ... show more

  • Great product
Size: 7.05 oz
I used this product when I was working in a pest control company and it's awesome on the inside of the home to control roaches. It works on ants as well. It's one of the best products I've ever used inside a.home

  • It kills and keeps killing, but there's a bit of a wind-up time.
Size: 0.35 oz packet (1 count)
This, along with a gel bait, has been pretty effective at controlling an infestation in my apartment. I give only four stars because it takes a day or two for it to wind up, but once it fires, there is a noticeable drop in the population. It's not for the impatient, but it is very effective and keeps killing for a couple of weeks after. For heavier infestations, you will need to reapply it every week or two because the corpses pile up to the point that you have to clean and disinfect the area, which will remove the poison. ... show more
