I've only owned this item for a week, so I can't speak to the durability, but I almost didn't buy it because of all the negative reviews regarding assembly. It was so easy to assemble! It probably took less than 30 minutes and was doable by one person. I like the way it looks. My only complaints are that the bottom for the storage part is almost like a plexi glass. I was expecting something that was a little more significant, but it seems like it will still hold up ok. And, when you open the lid/sofa seat, you have to hold it up. Not hard for an adult to do, but I am storing toddler toys and my toddler has a hard time getting things out because of this.

I love it! It is so nice to be able sit on my deck on cooler evening in the summer. I was even able to sit on the deck and watch the fireworks that were held about 1/2 mile from my home. Very happy with my purchase.

Great addition to porch. Base of box could be sturdier, needed a little tweaking to align pre drilled holes to keep bench lid from scraping arm. Love it!

This had everything I was looking for based on the description. Storage. Seating. Functional. Then it arrived and I had to put it together. To start- Worst instructions ever! No words just far away undetailed drawings. No parts labeled. Got passed that after several choice words and chucked tools, finally started making progress. The seat part came already attached to the frame so I put the arms and base together. Stand it up and the seat/lid won’t close without scraping the arm so now that’s already getting messed up. Took it all apart and tried again thinking maybe I messed up. Nope. Tried detaching the seat to see if maybe it was just not screwed in properly at the factory. Still wouldn’t. The seat just appears to be bent or mis-sized because it will just not lay flush like it should. It leaves a huge gap on the one side, so there goes weather proof. Too much of a hassle to take apart and return so guess it’ll be hitting the curb.
