Sadly yesterday someone broke into my office , they broke this safe with ease , after seeing the inside and the mechanics of this lock obviously this safe can only be used as a register to keep your money in while standing around it ,you should never store your money overnight. This safe was broken into without any scratch. All what you need to do is open the handel with strong hands and you'll bend a double thin metal inside the lock and it's open. I'm not sure if the seller will contact me to replace the door mechanics or accessories at least because I'm planning to keep it just for the fact I drilled my floor and don't want to get another one and keep drilling , plus I will install cameras and never leave cash overnight in that safe. I wasn't expecting a lot from this 200$ safe but at least not that weak that barely can take no struggle or tools what so ever to open. If I don't get contacted by the seller I'll be posting pictures to show the broken hardware. ... show more

The product is a pile of junk. I bought one for my retail store. Bolted it to the floor and it lasted less than 3 months. Neither of the 2 combinations would release the cylinders so I tried the keys which were supposed to open it and they would turn but the cylinders still would not release. We had the receipts from the previous day along with the starting cash for the next day in it, so the only choice I had was to get an 8lb sledge hammer and a pry bar to open it. We got in but there was no returning what was left of it after we did. It wasn't that hard to pry open and only took about 10 minutes. The only thing I can say is it worked great until it quit working. Unfortunately that was only 2 1/2month. I would never buy another one. ... show more

The safe door started to malfunction about 9 months after purchase. Batteries were fine and signal lights would come on that it was unlocked but door would not open--oftentimes it would take 20 minutes of attempting before it finally relented. When I inquired as to repairs under the "one year warranty" I was instructed to mail it back in the original packaging with a $60 money order--are you joking? Buying a new safe from a different company and tattooing "Barska" on my arm in hopes that I never make the mistake of using one of their products again. ... show more

We got robbed at two of our locations and both safes were simply opened with a yank to the handle, simple as that. No point in having this safe you might as well just keep your drops out in a cash drawer or safe spot instead of this. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE WE PURCHASED IS easily opened with not much force at all. We've had the safe over a month now, and we've had to reset the combinations (it holds two) about 6 times already. I mean.. AT LEAST six times. We've already been in the situation where neither combination worked and we needed the key to open the safe. I don't see any options for contacting the company. We haven't bolted it to the wall yet, but with the holes in the back, it will be easy to do. It isn't super heavy duty, but we new that when we purchased it.
