Edited: Received New Light! New Review! Received my new Barrina Grow light! It is PERFECT! It sits straight up, not wobbly at all. The Tripod screwed into the light stick perfectly! Perfect brightness. Customer service was TOP NOTCH with communication. They sent out a new one and it arrived quickly. I will definitely buy more products from Barrina! Thank you! I’m very happy with this grow light! Just received the Barrina light today. I’ve heard such great things about Barrina and I was so excited to get this up and running. I ordered it thru an influencer on TikTok thru her storefront on AMAZON. When I opened the box to put everything together the TRIPOD Legs were loose. As I put everything together, I noticed that it does not stand STRAIGHT- it has a lean to it. The light itself does not screw all the way down to the base of the TRIPOD. I spoke with AMAZON customer service and he walked me thru a couple steps to try and fix this issue. But, it still not straight or flush to the Tripod. He said most likely it’s a defect in manufacturing. We did send a message to the seller so hopefully we can resolve this issue and my plants can be happy and thriving before winter. I’ll update my post and rating once I hear from seller. Upon looking again- I think the issue is the base of the light where the tripod screws into- the screw only turns a few times and it stops and not allowing it to sit flush. I was thinking of blowing $250+ per mother light, but decided to do a little research first. And I'm glad I did! These are the same style vertical grow lights for a fraction of the price. The build quality is very nice with the body and legs being made of aluminum. One of the complaints about the mother lights is that the stand is too small and they fall over. With these, the base is much wider and kind of adjustable as to how far you spread the legs like a tripod. Overall I am very happy with these lights and I already have several new leaves on the way on my anthuriums! Keep you posted as I see further growth! ... show more

Bought Two Of These And So Impressed And WOW !! First off they shipped fast, I live in Fairbanks Alaska and got them quickly. They were boxed so well for the safety of the items and how many of us have been disappointed with boxing when we get our items? Thats not the case with these, they were doubled boxed and had foam inserts for more safety so the items did not roll around. Took me maybe 5 minutes to put each together and a GIGANTIC bonus surprise as I was reading the included manual is you can use these horizontal on your plant rack and they included the clips to hang them on your plant rack. So either use the included sturdy tripod or hang them on your plant shelves horizontal. Whomever made these was sure thinking on quality, ease of use and more than one way to use them The lights are bright and have the red light diodes too for vegatative or flower growth. I am going to my amazon cart and order 4 more of these as I am so super impressed and happy with this purchase. I grow exotic houseplants and this is perfect for me. I do love this light, it is very broad coverage of any area and is great to set up in front of plant stands because it evenly distributes light to the whole stand. The only downsides are that it does get very hot and it takes up alot of energy. When It is off my energy bill is about $15 lower a month! ... show more

Initially, I wasn't going to write a review, as I just received the light and haven't had a chance to use it at home, but after reading several not so great reviews, I had to let other potential buyers know that this is a decent light that is easy to assemble and seems quite sturdy. It really doesn't seem like it will fall over or that the tripod legs will fall off! The manual that came with the light offers clear, easy to read instructions and mentions how to tighten the base, if it loosens up later. They even included an Allen wrench for this purpose. I set the light up at our new office, just to test it out and be sure I wanted to keep it (I do), after reading some other reviews. I think this light will be perfect for my Adenium and the caudex plants I keep at my beachside home which receives very little sunlight during the summer months. Overall, a simple grow light that should last and serve its purpose. I noticed the light bar gets quite warm, but this was also mentioned in the instruction manual. ... show more

I hate bright lights so I was scared this would ruin my vibe.
