  • Handy dandy axe

My daughter is a fire fighter/feller. She loves this axe. Strong, sharp and looks good

  • Fantastic pack tool
Color: Pulaski Axe
Ghis tool although a little small is exactly what we were looking for as a pack in tool. It has been used on several local fires with great success.

  • Fantastic tool, just came with a broken scabbard
Color: Pulaski Axe
Sturdy, hefty and compact. Great tool for gardening, foraging or clearing tight spots. Splits kindling like butter. My scabbard came with a broken rivet, hoping for a replacement. I recommend this tool, it's very well built and stands up well to hard use.

  • A basic camp axe with an adze for digging shallow stuff.
Color: Pulaski Axe
Bought on Prime day at a way better price than the original price. I have been looking at these for awhile but couldn't justify at the price considering the price of a regular Pulaski. If you want a small camp style tool that can grub as well as chop, this might work for you. The adze is cupped unlike a real straight adze on a Pulaski style tool for grubbing and trenching, and its really short so don't plan on digging a ditch with it. Digging a cat hole or trenching around your tent for rain run off…yea. This works for dirt but is more adapt for making bowls or chopping out a log for a wooden canoe or something. Its got some decent weight so splitting dry soft wood works ok.. if its small diameter. Its not for splitting anything large diameter as its to short and the axe edge is dinky small. Quality: The blade cover on mine arrived with a jacked up rivet tying the two covers together so they wouldn't connect. Bad quality control there. Otherwise it was sharp and clean. The handle is slick. Sharpening that curved adze isn't easy and a flat adze would be better. Cant use a flat file.. You have to tighten the head before use. I’d recommend pulling it apart and re seating the head along with wrapping the top of the handle in some electrical tape to fill in the gap between the head and the handle. The binding rod should be bigger or the hole through the handle smaller in my opinion due to vibration of the rod/tang during use.. because if it breaks during use.. you have an axe head missile on the loose and thats just a poor design. All in all its a decent addition to a camping overland kit for occasional use, but for serious kind of use and the high price?… Meh not so much. Theres way better tools out there for a better value. ... show more

  • Held together by hopes and dreams
Color: Felling Axe
The media could not be loaded. Now I will admit I miss reading the ad. I thought it said 28 inch, not 23. But.. on the FIRST SWING the head loosened up, so I had a closer look. The handle does not touch the edges of the enclosure. Only the wedge does. So it is literally being held together by hopes and dreams. Do not by this axe. Calling this axe a felling axe is a bad joke. I use a 3 1/2 - 6 pound axe with between 28-36 inch handle. This thing is the size of a hatchet. ... show more

  • It's okay not awesome
Color: Felling Axe
This is my second barebones axe in a year. I loved my first one and it hit all my needs on the checklist. It was stolen out of my back yard in the fall and I was super pissed off and havnt been able to find the same one again. I was excited to get my new and was sad when I opened it up. The axe head is dull and painted. I like the length and wieght of the entire Axe. The handle is where not cool at all. I am disappointed with the finish on the wooden handle. The packaging came unsecured and it must have bounced around in transit so scratch marks and knicks out of the handle were already there before it even came out of the box. The finish feels almost tacky and doesn't feel like it is a functional finish because I can still feel the unfinished wood underneath and it gives me splinters if I dont wear gloves while using it. The assembly of the handle to the head was really shitty. There is a chuck missing and is clearly seen. I am shocked it left the company with it looking the way it did when it arrived. I have only used it a couple of times since I opened the box a few days ago. It works very well for me. I am only 5'2'' and have rather short arms 😂 so this product fits my swing with great comfort. I am still waiting to see how it feels after a much longer session of hunting and chopping tree meat to make that wonderful glow of warmth. I wouldn't purchase it again and I wouldn't have purchase it IF I had picked it up in person at a store. ... show more

  • Excellent tool !!!!
Color: Pulaski Axe
Very durable I use this axe to make bushcraft shelters which consists of digging chopping hammering and wood splitting for fires. The downside is it’s a little on the heavy side but if you can handle the weight its worth it !!!
