everything looks good but the ankle straps for cables are way too small. might be a user error but they didnt work for me which was a bummer since theyre a main reason for choosing this set

A really nice little set of strength training tools. This combination (bands, pad, lifting straps, ankle straps) is a well-chosen toolkit. The manufacturing quality (seams, material) is good. I like the non-slip layer on the inside of the bands; before getting this set I was using pullup bands, looped around, so the comfort of these is a real step up. The bands have a reasonable range in strength, and you can always double them up to expand it. Expect some shedding the first time using the bands. This is just “manufacturing dust” (left over loose threads) and there is no actual fraying. The bar pad is nice and dense. The lifting straps work very well; they’re really one-size-fits-all. I knotted the end to keep them out of the way. Overall, I recommend it. If you need any two of these items, you might as well get the whole kit; they’ll come in handy later.
