These are great replacement bulbs for the standard 1 watt bulbs that come with most outdoor light strings. These 2 watt bulbs have 2 elements instead of one. They glow nicely and last a lot longer. I would definitely recommend them. Also, if you take liquid electric tape and brush it around the wires of your light strings where the wires attach to the bulb sockets, the light strings will last five times longer. You won't have any more problems with water getting into your bulbs and the sockets rusting (top tip). ... show more

It's too soon to tell how these will last over time, but they look great and work perfectly as replacements for my original bulbs which had some water infiltration. That's the biggest killer of my string lights so far, but my hope is that these are better sealed from the elements. I also love that they have 2 LED filament rods instead of one, which should last twice as long or more, they also look more balanced. ... show more

Looks just like the originals. The light string has been in use for about 4 years. One of the original bulbs broke when I had to dismount the string to trim a tree. Another would go off by itself for a couple of seconds then come back on and remain lit for a minute or so. These replacements are the same brightness and color as the original. these replaced my incandescent bulbs that had burned out on my string light set. I was skeptical that they wouldn't be as bright as the original bulbs but I hardly noticed any difference. Very pleased. I didn't rate for Longevity because they were just installed a few weeks ago.

I found these to be closer to 4000K than 2500 based on past purchases of LED lighting. I replaced my 1 watt bulbs in my cafe light strings with these and they are very bright now. Not so bright that I need to dim them but if I did they are dimmable. One important note... The listing is for a 50 pack but there are 6 rows of 9 lights or 54 lights in the box. This was good as I was going to have to use three of my old bulbs until I discovered the bonus bulbs. They have been in use for only a couple of months but I expect them to last a long time based on my previous bulb performance. ... show more
