I have a different banneton that I have been hesitant to use because it arrived with a weird smell, and ordered this one to replace it. Thankfully I did! This came out of the package with a natural wicker scent which I was so happy with. It is the perfect size for a standard boule, and all of the accessories are very helpful and sturdy. Recently I decided I wanted to learn how to make sourdough bread, so I started looking for the different tools including a scorer and came upon this kit. It literally has everything you need and is perfect for starters like me. I also love the liner/cover that fits the bowl perfectly, so I don't have to use a towel. Definitely recommend if you're starting out to grab this kit. Was also thinking this would make a great gift for someone too.
