I am returning this item, but don’t let that discourage you. The research I did showed this one to be best for back pain and cooling. My back pain became worse, unfortunately. As for the cooling - WOW the first time in years that I haven’t sweated through my sheets. That is very impressive. It is cushy, but not in the way that I wanted it. It fit my king size perfectly. Not as soft and padded as I had hoped. Also deep pocket sheets are needed as it adds a lot of thickness to the bed. Took a week to get used to the stiffer sleep since I am more of a soft mattress fan.

Ordered the regular size bamboo mattress topper to revamp an older mattress that we use at the lake. Deep pockets fit over my old mattress without problem. The puffy squares made for a comfy feeling mattress. Must use deep pocket sheets! Machine washable.

I bought this mattress topper in a queen size. It is thick, fluffy, breathable, and buttery soft. Though the queen size fits a little small in the width; could be about 3 inches wider to fit appropriately. And the color is more green compared to the website pictures which isn't a big deal, but I prefer white bedding (web pics look white with green writing; in actuality the surface is light greenish with darker green writing) which isn't a big deal, but I prefer white bedding.
