Impressive little amp! The sound quality is impressive. The remote is useless.

I'm impressed. So far, this little amp is way above what I expected in sound quality. I'm using it with my phone that I'm using as a Pandora server. Since the amp has no real equalizer and I needed some adjustments there to get rid of the slightly boomy bass, I used the EQ in my phone (it's a Samsung S22) and the change was amazing! Also, since the amp has no control of the signal coming into it's line-in ports, when I switch from line to FM, the volume increase is frightening! I found that permanently raising the volume on the phone makes this a little less scary but still needs to be adjusted at the amp. Not a big deal for me, since I rarely use the FM, but it would be an issue if I did. The fix for me is to make sure I make the switch at the amp where I can turn the volume down before I do the switch. Interestingly, turning the volume to max on the phone actually improved the sound quality. I'm running a pair of vintage Nakamichi Sound Space 7 speakers. No discernible distortion at anywhere near normal listening levels. I use this setup mostly for background music at a moderate levels. Sometimes I crank it up a bit and it's still fine. The stereo separation is impressive. The amp has no balance control. Fortunately the Nakamichi speakers are very directional, so I can fine tune the balance by slightly adjusting the speaker placement angles. The remote is interesing. For example, the volume adjustment is slow. I have to hold down the button for a few seconds before you hear any change. Using several quick presses works better. The On/Off button turns off the amp but leaves most of the settings, and the blue LED around the volume control on. You can use the on/off switch on the amp to power it down completely, but then you'll use some settings. The LED consumes such a negligible amount of power I just use the remote. I have not had the patience to connect the Bluetooth, I will eventually. I think the reason for it not connecting is that there are so many Bluetooth gadgets in this house that could be interfering with a connection. The phone "sees" the amp but won't connect. So many reviews say how easily it connects, so it's no doubt an issue I can fix. One disadvantage to good Bluetooth range! Bottom line: This little amp works well for my use. Very well. The most important thing to me was sound quality; I didn't expect it to compare with a $400 amp in all it's other features. Another plus for me is that it's diminutive size lets it all but disappear on the shelf. It's 7" wide and you need to figure 8" deep to allow for the cords coming out the back. I'm giving it five stars for my use. Your mileage may vary! OK, it's now been a few weeks and I have an update. That remote. as noted above, it was a bit hinky from the start in that the volume didn't work right. So it continued to require longer waits and more presses to get the volume to change up or down. Finally it just stopped working. The remote still turns the amp on and off and the few other function I use it for work, but the volume, which for my use is the most important thing to work properly, has ceased to work, so now I just assume that there's no remote with this product. Bummer, but the amp still works as described above: very well. Maybe the seller/manufacturer reads these reviews? That would be good.

Solid Audio amplifier with reliable Blue Tooth connection

Purchased for Home surrounding system: solid case of metal (not plastic). Tested all functions except mic and worked as expected. Output power is enough for home use. Blue tooth connection is very reliable with 30-40 feet . Sound quality is acceptable ( depending on sound source). FM radio signals are little weak. USB/MP3 playback is good. Remote control well designed. Two shortcomings: 1 a loud sound comes out when switching functions and no way to make it quiet; 2 poor user manual and operation instructions.

Not a bad unit and works as intended, but I found that the Bluetooth range for this unit was very short. I purchased a bluetooth to analog unit that required USB power, and plugged it into the amp's USB outlet, with a connection to the AUX audio port, and THAT combo works VERY good, and only cost me an additional $16 to buy.

Very pleased, needed something to power some good speakers for my new wood shop to save space. I hooked it direct to my alexa device for the line in, bluetoothed iit to my phone and pad so I have many choices. Depending on your speakers, the sound is awesome and your not restricted by the volume. The SD reader is ok but you can't shuffle your play list so you need to do it from the app on your phone or pad. I like having Alexa on hand so you can also have her bluetooth to your device instead of the line in. I have a loft above my shop so I was going to put extra speakers there and a speaker control box to pick my room. The price is great, I would grab one.

Worth the money

I didn’t want anything great but I was surprised how nice it worked and the sound was shocking from my old 1983 RV speakers. The remote is a bit short distance and so is the Bluetooth. But then again, it is in a tin can RV and the price was worth it. Does all I wanted and came with Ac cord and FM antenna. Wished it came with 12v cord also, but I’ll make one.
