They are comfortable! I listed this first as I have a bad back. Until I got these I had to sit on a backless stool and suffer or eat sitting on the sofa. (bad idea). They are a quality product. They’re as gook-looking and well made as others I’ve looked at for more than two times the price. The colors in the pictures on the ad are accurate! I was concerned as I was looking for a match to the wood on our table. These do— perfectly! They are sturdy and swivel perfectly….so easy to get on to and off of. They are very attractive. Assembly—— here’s where the only negative comes in. All the pieces were there. Instructions were not of value to my husband who has built everything from an RV, to a house. It would have been so helpful to have detailed instructions for each step in English. He did succeed in putting them together. I couldn’t have done it. My suggestion, if you’re not handy by nature is to invite a talented friend to help you and then feed them dinner using your new stools. Or, simply (but costly) have them sent to you already assembled. P S. My husband said, “assembling them was part of the fun.”. My parting comment is, do not let the lack of ease in assembling deter you from purchasing. They truly are an incredible stool at an incredible price. ... show more

    • Great stools that are somewhat easy to assemble

These are great bar stools. The instructions state you need 2 or more people to assemble, however, I found you can assemble them by yourself. The company does a good job of giving the exact number of hardware required and I was not missing one screw for 4 stools. The instructions are a little confusing on step one. Step one you are just attaching the stool back to the stool seat. Once you figure that out, the other instructions are better. They tell you not to tighten "any" screws until the stool is assembled but the only screws you need to keep loose are the ones for the legs. It is much easier to tighten the screws for steps 1-3 when you assemble rather than at the end of assembly. The stools are comfortable and look great at my countertop bar. ... show more

First off, I was very impressed with the packaging. They obviously put thought into it to avoid damage during shipping. These bar stools are made of REAL WOOD! They are high quality. I was surprised to find such a great bar stool at this price! I bought 10 of them for my large basement bar. Assembly is easy. The first one took me about 30 minutes. After that, it took me about 15 minutes to assemble. I highly recommend these stools! I can’t say enough about them. I am very satisfied with them. I still can believe you get this high quality stool for under $200 for 2 of them!!!! If you are looking for either a counter or bar height stool, but these ! They are comfortable and swivel 360 degrees. Very sturdy. Beautiful stools. I just bought 2 more of them. ... show more

Caught these on sale for $67 each and couldn't have found a better set of stools for the price. They were super simple to assemble and are very sturdy. 360 degree swivel is also a great perk also! So far, so good on this product. I have received two out of three. With the third arriving tomorrow.

    • Be AWARE of this Product's issues with assembly and MISSING parts.

Upon arrival packaging boxes looked good. However it went downhill from there. When I opened the first box (of 2) and saw a bunch of washes spread out all over the inside instead of being in their appropriated plastic pack....first sign of what's to come. Then I unpacked the parts and it seemed like everything was there...NOT>>>! Found more loose wire washers missing from theri plastic pack as well... Began assembly and hoped I found all the parts which at this point were mixed in a ton of styrofoam packing material...and as expected there were missing wire washers and regular washers. I decided to open the second box and at least get enough stuff to finish 1 chair. Same situation in box 2. Long story short I had to drive to Home Depot to try and match the washers with those that came in the packing. After all is said and done the chairs are ok in appearance, they do swivel fine and are a good seat in general. BUT, I would not order from this company again...TOO much frustration,,, and the styrofoam was flying through the house for days........breaks into those little annoying pieces...Mess! ... show more
