I really do like this coat and I have been wearing it quite a bit this winter for moderately cold days. It’s got a soft feel and I love having the hood for snowy or sleety days, plus the length is long enough that I don’t have to worry about my shirt poking out underneath which is a pet peeve of mine. It’s also not too bulky in its padding that it swallows my short frame, which most coats of this style seem to do. I haven’t tried to wash the coat yet so can’t comment on how well it holds up. Unfortunately my coat came with one issue that is noticeable enough that it still bugs me a little each time I put it on, but I didn’t feel like returning/exchanging over. On one of the armholes the stitching seems to be a bit wonky, so the lining is slightly bunched up and I can feel the seam digging in around my shoulder/armpit area in a way I don’t feel in the other arm. It isn’t so uncomfortable it prevents me from wearing the coat, but it does limit my range of motion a little because I’m worried about snapping a thread somewhere. If it weren’t for that stitching hiccup this would have been 5 stars. ... show more

Just what I was looking for. I live in the South so we get a couple of weeks with day temps in the 30s and nights in the mid teens. It’s not Kansas, but it’s cold enough! This insulated jacket has enough room to layer a sweater or hoodie for night time and fine on its own for day. I ordered according to the size chart and had to return because it was way too big. I love the coat , but the hood has no strings. It’s hard to keep it on your head specially if it’s a windy day other than that it’s warm and fits it’s like it should. Very nice deep pockets love that in a coat.
