Have to say did not know “swim pants” or “swim capris” existed or were a thing, and don’t plan on wearing them to swim in. However took these with me on a trip to Puerto Vallarta recently and they were perfect for the warm (almost hot) breezy weather down there - the lightweight polyester/spandex material kept me comfortable with no sweating. I also only wore them as capri style with the leg openings tied up, because untied these things just look goofy walking around in as the material really flops around with each step. I am 5’4” at 131lbs and ordered these in small; for the most part they fit well, but the waist band was a touch snug for me. Having said that I think mediums would have been too big. Other than that no real or major complaints, and like these enough that I’m considering buying them in black as well.
