They have an odor, but not so much to make one sick of it. It is to be expected with the material used to have a slight smell to them. Sturdy, and all within a Pound of the listed weights on side. Worth the price tag for what I want them for. I don't do a lot exercises requiring me to drop them from over head but I imagine for the basic drops they are sturdy. Shipping was a bit of a SNAFU but customer service was well involved and working on getting them to me despite the courriers attempts to not make it happen.

These are really nice weights for the money. The rubber coating is thick and durable. The lettering is in a recessed area that won’t wear off easily and the center metal sleeve is solid. I’m sure these will hold up forever in my home gym. Anyone who has spent time in the gym will already know this, but this is a tip if you are a newbie setting up a home gym. There are many various sized weights out there. If you look at my pictures you will see I have a 35lb, 15lb, and 10lb racked together and they are all the same size diameter.. this is what you will want when you start doing certain exercises where you touch the ground with your bar like dead lifts for example. Just something to consider while shopping.

While planning my home gym I read a lot of advice that suggested only buying premium weight plates. I think this is terrible advice, for a home gym you do not need commercial quality plates from Rogue or similar brands. These BalanceFrom Everyday Essentials plates are suitable for a home gym and are priced very competitively. The rubber, logo and finish is good quality, metal rings are tight and all the plates are uniform. I was initially worried about rubber/oil odors, but after washing them with Murphys Oil Soap and letting them air out in the sun for a few days, they are odorless in my garage gym. I think these weight plates are an excellent value, they will make you as strong as any other plates on the market.

These are some of the best priced and still a good quality bumper plates I was able to find anywhere. They work just fine for home gym use. The price is so low on here sometimes I've actually seen people trying to sell these second hand on FB marketplace for more than it costs here! Definitely a good deal.

One section of the description says that it is sold in “pairs” Another section excludes the 55lb weights under its sold as “pairs” list. Once I received the item, opened it, and found out there was only one, I was annoyed that I was misled by the conflicting descriptions and sent the item back. The bumper plate itself seemed to be nicely made, but I was misled by the company’s conflicting description. PROS Quality bumper plate No horrible rubber smell (of course there was some rubber smell to it, but nothing obnoxious) Cons Misleading/conflicting product description. Only ONE plate is shipped

Solid enough, only wear after a couple years is the paint on the numbers has flaked off. Doesn't matter much because the numbers are raised. They arrive with manufacturer oil on them and have some factory smell. Smell was not overwhelming. I would buy again.
