There (currently) are no videos posted by RealTruck that describe installation of this cover on the Ford Maverick. No printed instructions are provided in the box; all information is online only. By watching their videos on other vehicle installations (e.g. the F-150 and Ranger) I was able to figure out how to do it on my Maverick, but it took additional time. Once done, however, this is a very nice cover ... excellent design, materials and fit ... and it's easy to use. ... show more

Took a little longer than advertised due to my mobility issues but installed easily and is very functional. Adds that extra layer of protection from prying eyes. Works great with the locking tail-gate. This design beats the other hard tops. A true tri-fold hard top that opens all the way against the cab when needed. This was a good point since this a small truck bed in the first place you want all the open room you can get for tall or larger items. I got this for my 2024 Maverick Lariat. Installation was straight-forward. It has worked beautifully for months now. Some folks expect their bed covers to be watertight, but I'm not one of them. When I can see light along the edges of a closed tailgate it seems a bit much to expect the cover to be watertight. This cover does fit very well and the seals around the perimeter do lead me to believe that it's doing a good job of keeping rainwater out. I have yet to see any water in the bed of my truck. Everyday use is easy. The one hand operation for opening each section works very well. When I want open access to the whole bed, the provisions for attaching the sections up against the back window are quick and easy. When it's time to close up, it's an easy process of flopping each section over. Since they are self latching no other effort is required. I'm one of those people who will choose function over form every time, but in the case of this cover I don't have to. With its near flush mounting and aluminum finish it looks terrific on my truck. Live in CA, wanted to avoid people tearing open a soft top to see what’s inside, did not want a retractable because there’s not a lot of bed in the first place and didn’t want to lose any more space. So, trifold was the way to go. I wanted a well made one that did not occlude the theirs light when flipped up. It was between this one and another cheaper one. But that one had huge clamps to hold the cover down. Those clamps would get into the way of the sliding tie downs in the bed. So, this was the winner. Easy install, looks great and makes the bed usable for running about Town buying Christmas presents. Not a water proof as I would have liked. I’m trying to track down the leak but haven’t found it yet. It’s a small leak so no biggie. ... show more

I purchased this for a 2024 Maverick with the factory spray in bed liner. It's sturdy and well built. I had a hard time getting the clamps for the bed rails to lock in correctly and had to take the rails off and reset them. Once I did that the cover clicked in to place. The packing for shipping is very good. My initial impression is that the quality and materials are good. It clearly won't be completely waterproof, but I don't expect it to be. I am taking off one star, though, because details matter to me. As mentioned by others below, the two sets of holes drilled through the aluminum frame are poorly done. When I took the tape off there were aluminum shavings in the tape. The holes themselves are not the kind of smooth, clean holes I would expect. They work and they are in the right place, but they looked like someone was trying to get every dime out of a drill bit that needed to be changed out long ago. The cover doesn't come with printed directions. There is a QR code and a URL that takes you to their website. I couldn't find any kind of printed or text directions. There are videos for a few different installs. When I tried to launch one, I got a message that it wouldn't play because I hadn't accepted the privacy policy. It let me read the policy but I never saw an accept button. Thankfully the same videos are on YouTube and you can watch them without any issues. Still, being out in the sun and trying to step through a video on my tablet made the install harder than it needed to be. I'm still happy that I bought this and expect it to meet my needs. But it could have been a five-star review except for a couple of minor issues. ... show more

The instalation isn't difficult, but I would recommend to watch a YouTube video just for better visual references (and additional suggestions). My instalation took me about an hour or so, after double/triple checking my steps and placements. So far I love this bed cover, while in the rain water only leaks (very mildly) through the back of the bed but not (with good placement) through the tailgate. My bed can now be used like a big trunk, and it leveled with the bed. Giving a sleek look that doesn't stick out like a soar thumb. Security feels solid. Unlike with a soft cover, a thief won't be able to get into your bed very easily with a single cut of a knife. Ultimately a cover is a visual deterrent, thieves are more often than not opportunist. If they don't see (or are aware of) something to steal, they mostly likely won't attempt to. If you concern with more persistent offenders, this hardcover makes it more difficult for break-ins. This hard cover is the best bang for your buck. Looks good, it is very practical, and it can even hold 300 lbs (which is more helpful than I expected). Other hardcovers can cost you another grand. It was a great investment for me by making my truck far more practical ... show more

So far the only thing, I wish the front seal. Would go Al the way to the rear glass. The Maverick, is built different than other pickups. It doesn't have a gap between the bed and rear glass. To help keep water from leaking in in the future and the foam seal wear. If they would had made the rubber seal that covers the foam seal, go up to the rear glass. Also the gap in the plastic bed edge cover is not protected from water leaking in. See photo So far I very happy with the cover. It fairly easy to install yourself in less than a hour. I had to preposition the cover, I originally. Had it up touching the rear glass, than it didn't seal the tailgate. It would be nice if they include new rubber hole seal, that they instruct to put in the tubing for the side rail drain tupeing. I didn't want to cut a 1/8 inch hole in the rubber hole plug seal. The tube fit good in the bed corner drain that are in the bed already. I do have the spray in bed liner. ... show more

The materails are great, If you install this the rail has to be balance and straight, it is very hard to do that with just clamp, After installion, the clip won't go through and i have to pull it the string every time which is bothersome, becasue you pay such as high Price.
