I have been a commercial embroiderer/digitizer for over 30 years and have used many other brands such as Tajima, Brother, etc. I have been watching BAI machines on the U.S. market and other embroiderers experiences for a few years before I decided to make the purchase. When I saw the BAi VisionV22-2, I knew it was time to do so. I was impressed with the design of the machine, I could tell it was built strong and was hoping it would do the job that my business needs. I made the purchase and the machine arrived quickly, quicker than Amazon date listed. It arrive in the crate and in great condition. Note that this is a heavy machine!!! I have dealt with larger machine in the past so it was not a big deal for me. I used a front end loader to lift the machine on the base I assembled. I suggest using a car engine lift. The machine has two shackles you can lift from. I had about one foot lift to my door way, In my experience it works well if you have to ability to build a ramp for heavy equipment. 2x12 and plywood work well. Making a ramp if you have a rise will save some frustrations especially if inn tight areas. Speed forward, LOL , Setup was east as I have been done this for many years. But if you are new to embroidery, I can be overwhelming. The great thing is there are tons on support videos from BAI and some Facebook groups. BAI support and communication has been great. Checking in and making sure everything is going ok on a regular basis. Now for the performance on the machine. I have no complaints. It is quiet sooth running machine. The stitching quality is awesome as well. Embroidering hats is the true test, and so far I am happy with quality and performance. The true test is durability of the machine and time will tell. I will come back in future to added my thoughts on this subject. The only slight negative in my view is there are no parts diagrams available for this machine. I do my own tech/repair work on my equipment and it would be very helpful to have. Also there are not any parts available to purchase from a web site. (Note: there so extra parts supplied with the machine which is a plus!) But BAI did assure me that they are here to support and have a tech department to help customers with any problems that arise. All in all, this is a great machine!

This machine as worked perfectly. I adjusted some setting for sewing hats and messed it up. I contacted customer support for help. Luke Ren was able to quickly help me get the settings corrected and back to sewing. Thank you!

The media could not be loaded. So i have had the V22-2 for several months now. It is a great machine. It stays running all day long in my shop. I plan to add many more of these machines. Also machine is really quite compared to past machines i have owned.

The media could not be loaded. This is our unbiased, unpaid review of our new(ish) BAi V-22-2 double head, 15(30) needle embroidery machine. To jump right in, we wholly and emphatically recommend this machine. For small business owners: We have been using the machine for 7-months now and we have been exceedingly pleased with its performance and the professional qualities of this machine. We are able to complete gorgeous products with great precision and low down time. UNBOXING AND BEYOND: The machine came very well packaged in a wooden cargo crate. Unboxing was not a challenge, but demands some basic tools (hammer, dolly/handcart, some strong people). The machine is heavy and takes 4 people to assemble. The machine came with a TON of extras that other brand manufacturers are charging as add-ons to their base units. The machine is calibrated and ready out of the box and if you have used professional machines there is a very easy learning curve. If you have not used a pro machine before you should begin with the extensive library of videos available on YouTube from the manufacturer. As soon as you register your product you will receive invites to the BAi FaceBook group where discussions and sharing are robust and fruitful. Of most import to smaller embroidery shops (like ours) is the 24-7 tech support via FaceBook messenger. We spoke to BAi professional tech supporters (we were assigned our own engineer, Leo) who will respond immediately (albeit on Chinese time) to our needs. We sent pictures and videos of minor problems we encountered with tensioning and calibration after a SNAFU caused by a broken needle caught in the bobbin well. They were straightforward and video chatted with us and sent small video clips at night U.S. time for us to review and attempt fixes/troubleshooting the next day. We have been selling products stitched by our BAi and have begun to turn a profit with the enhancement of a dual head machine; which quite obviously doubles the output of our small company. PROS: -AMAZING and responsive tech team to assist with anything, anytime! -Very fast set up! -15 needles X2 is a LIFESAVER on changing threads and maximizes our "up" time producing products for our customers. -Very fine details are possible, the machine is capable of incredible and artful embroidery. -Double the output... no one can complain about that. -The hat attachments are very good. We have not had a dedicated hat embroidery machine before, but this BAi V22 is just as capable as the hat machines we've seen as the trade shows, and better, we can produce everything else on it as well. -LOADS of extras: large, med and small hoops. Two types of hat brackets (two for fronts and two for sides). Tool kit with all the relevant small tools required to maintain the machine in top working order. An oil pen to keep up with the lubrication requirements. -A LOT of YouTube videos. Pretty much every SNAFU you could get into and/or primer on how-to-use the features of the machine are covered on the BAI YouTube. -FaceBook group with active participants to collab. and discuss usages of the machine, patterns, etc. CONS: -Takes some time to learn the computer/interface system. -Tensioning (at least with our machine) is different than the factory specs and requires patience. -Some YouTube videos are dated and for other machines. Overall we highly recommend this machine. We are a small embroidery business and the V22-2 is the new center piece of our production. We are very pleased with the purchase and expect to pay off the machine with proceeds from sales w/in the year. We were NOT paid nor incentivized in any manner to make this review. We just liked the machine enough to let folks know what we thought.
