The media could not be loaded. I needed a safe for my desk where I had the touch button before. It was too slow on opening, therefore, found this one, with the finger print scanner and had to give it a try. First think, I always test before mounting anything new to anything. Out of the box, this is very well made, thick gauge steel, very well designed where the mounting plate is a rock solid design where there is no way to break into it once mounted. When opening it up for the batteries, the tech in this is far more advanced than the ones in the past. Good solid circuitry, guts of this is well hidden and the battery compartment is solid as well. Once its all set up and finger print registered, I gave it a test of 30 continuous finger print scans, and ZERO failure, wow, that is a high end finger printer scanner on this one. What makes this even more amazing, is that it only scanned my finger three times before entering the finger print into memory. How in the world, where my finger print scanner on my high dollar pc, practically broke my finger with a registration of 20 or so scans. Hard to show the scanning in pics, therefore, i did a short video showing the scanning of this one where pics are not enough. Now, with the three scans for setting up, and the zero failure rate, and I found no cons at all, all I can is that I am VERY happy with this purchase. ... show more

Shipping was quick, which was helpful. The item is well constructed. Takes five minutes to install, at least for me. There’s a bolt holding down the seat, Take the nut off, slip the wire on, re-tighten nut, drop cable in slot inside the box, lock the box and you’re done.
