I love this stuff! I’ve always used Aquaphor or Cetaphill on my tattoos, but hate the sticky thick residue they leave that comes off super quick on clothes. This stuff is lightweight and feels really nice on the skin, it lasts for a very long time too. It has a mild honey/beeswax scent. The tin is also super cute and the product isn’t hard to get out. it’s like room temp butter even when it’s really cold. I’ve shared this with my sister for a a few weeks and we’ve both been applying at least twice a day on multiple tattoos, it still has about 3/4 product left! perfect for healing and older tattoos, especially in the winter! ... show more

I used this product at the recommendation of my tattoo artist to soothe and moisturize my skin as my tattoo healed. Badger Tattoo Balm helped with the peeling and dryness. I used most of one tin for the three times I had my tattoo worked on, and there is still some left to use as hand cream:^)

    • Better Than Aquaphor
Don't get me wrong Aquaphor is good for your first or 2nd day of healing due to potential bleeding but I really hate that stuff. It's petroleum-based so it will pretty much stain everything you accidentally touch with it. Go to sleep with Aquaphor on? Hope you don't like your bed sheets. Then after research, I found this Badger company and decided to give it a try. Sure you get substantially less product than with Aquaphor but that's because this is much better. Not nearly as oily, doesn't stain anything (so far), and moisturizes. My only thing is the scent. While it's not terrible I feel like I'm baiting my arm to attract badgers. So maybe don't put it on in the woods? Otherwise, I def recommend Badger tattoo balm for new tattoos. ... show more

I used this product for my aftercare and it worked beautifully! Smelt amazing and helped in the healing process. I stay away from chemical aftercare like Aquafor so this was the perfect product. Highly recommend.

I had Looked on Amazon for tattoo balms like these because they are cheaper and good to use for your brighten of the tattoo if you have a certain smell desire and won’t give you a headache, this is the one! It is also great for your hands when they are dry. I also Ordered this because I had Gotten a big animal with a dream catcher and thought a perfect time!! Best product I’ve ever used! Not so strong in smell it’s smells like coconut but very mild to I barely Has a smell until you rub it in. Fresh tattoo lasts 5.5hrs and when at the near end of healing this lasts 5hrs! Well at least for me it did. I’ll be ordering more just wish they had a bigger size than what they give you. I’ll be definitely checking them out and see if they have any beard balms! Perfect on a budget and amazing for tattoos, hands and dry areas of your body! ... show more
