Much more sturdy than expected. Seems to be great quality in the first week it's been up. Assembled with 2 novices, in 2 day of hard work. Re: assembly: directions stated that part letters were stamped on pieces, but could not find a single one. Each piece does come in a plastic sleeve with the part letter, so don't remove the sleeves until you are ready to install the part! Also, would recommend following the instructions EXACTLY, and check off each step as completed. Very easy to lose your place in the instructions. Parts can have very subtle differences that don't become inportant until later, so FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS in order, and EXACT DETAIL, and avoid re-work! For example, there might be a front and back piece that seem identical, but they actually have a minor difference that is needed later to attach another piece. ... show more

Fantastic pergola! Exactly as advertised! Strong, durable, attractive! It took 2 men about 6-7 hours to assemble since it is a giant puzzle that arrived 10 days earlier than expected in four 10 foot long boxes! Love having the option to easily open or close louvers. So happy with purchase!

This is a great product so far. Installed on July 4,2025. So far my wife and I love it. I actually bought 45°brackets for extra support. The company should really think about adding them to the package for more stability. If you purchase this product I feel like you will love it. I installed minds with little to no help. It took me approximately 9 hours to install this alone. 2 people will definitely speed up the installation. *****Make sure to follow the instructions ****** I did just that, great job backyard discovery. We love this. We wanted sethimg for over our hot tub and found this. It took us bout 4 ours to put together, easy instructions. All metal makes it pretty sturdy. We had some severe weather the past year including snow. Great weather protection sun/rain.

The media could not be loaded. Update. Added another video of how its leaking. This is junk. Is it pretty?? Yes. But omg it leaks at the edge where it attaches to the house. And along the front. The gutters are worthless. I'm so disappointed. uploaded a video to show how bad it leaks. And it's not raining hard I used to have an awning and Things they dry. I Really thought this was going to be an upgrade. This was It very costly mistake Especially for someone on a fixed income. We added an outdoor patio area at our restaurant. These 14' x 10' Saratsota Metal Pergolas by Backyard Discovery worked GREAT!! The adjustable louvers allow us to adjust the amount of sunlight based on weather conditions to maximize guest comfort. Additionally, when the louvers are fully closed they channel rainwater to the edge gutters and drain the water down the leg. It is a great design! The delivery of these pergolas went smooth. Each pergola ships in four large rectangle boxes. They are pretty heavy, so have some muscle around when handling. The assembly instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. In addition to the written instructions, you can download the BILT app on your phone that includes audio instructions with 3D images.
