Overall this swing set is great! It came in so many pieces, but they have an easy instructional manual that shows you on your phone what the steps are. It’s very sturdy. Our kids play on it daily. My husband has even sat on the swings and it held him.

** update - the beam across the top of the swings has split from end to end 3 weeks after purchasing.. my kids are only 3 and 5 so I don't think they are swinging too hard. I've contacted Backyard discovery to see what they say. I love how tall this fort is, my kids love the third story, but it is a beast to assemble. It took my handyman and one other worker 3+ days of full time labor. Also with the height of the structure you have to be cognizant of safety measures in case of falls. I worked on this about 4 hours each day. It has taken about two weeks to assemble. First note is the entrance to first level. It is getting cut off. I have hit my back more times than I can count. Structurally it serves no purpose. I suggest they redesign this section. Great for little kids; not so much for adults. You know the kids will want you to climb up!! I am not crazy about the posts stacking on one another. I will be buying brackets to reinforce. I think the directions could have been written clearer. For example: do the label numbers go in or out or doesn’t it matter. Putting the floor down was a challenge to get the bracket for center post to line up. When putting on slats for railing, who measures from bottom up? I measured from top down once I knew how much. Long review I know. Being a woman I laid everything out, read the directions carefully, looked ahead in book, I can’t see a man doing that!! Ha ha ha. Yes that’s stereotypical. I would suggest leveling your ground first. I jumped right in and feel it was a mistake. Overall I give the directions a B+. Diagrams need to be clearer. Good luck!! Have fun!! It could of been packaged easier, it took almost 10 days to put together working on it a couple hours a day after work (i work a lot) during the weekdays and 1 day during the weekend by myself i would say roughly 30hrs (I'm a 5'1 90lb women with 2 young kids "helping") all i can say is to make it go 10xs quicker SEPERATE BOARDS first!! Organize them! It will save you so much time and frustration! Seriously trust me! Overall it was pretty easy to put together, i did have issues with holes not lining up like they were supposed to, and wood overlapping to where i had to shave off some to fit another piece. Seems pretty durable, i did have some one 150ish lbs on the to layer and didn't have issues, the swing did get creaky when i sat on it, but it works for kids, i have a 4 and 7yr old playing on it. I'm overall happy with the purchase ... show more

Order arrived on scheduled day about 2 weeks after I placed, My son in law who has his own construction company put the play yard together in about 10 hours. He commented on the sturdiness and overall material and really liked the ease of everything being predrilled. My grandson loves it! We have purchased some extra handles and a safety net to go across the opening at the rock wall, my grandson is only 2 so he won't be using that for a while. ... show more

    • Very Nice Playset - Relatively Easy Assembly, Good Value
The media could not be loaded. This is an outstanding playset. It took about 4 days to assemble, working about 4-5 hrs per day. Follow the instructions and you will do fine. Boards were all marked, per instructions, except maybe two, but they were reasonably easy to back into what they should be. Instructions include diagrams of the boards. I assembled the whole thing myself, with a little help raising the swing beam and attaching it to the tower. If you have difficulty following instructions, then its probably best to hire someone to assemble it for you. I dinged one star because I felt the wood quality was, at times, below my expectations. In some cases, the boards could stand to be about 1/2" thicker. What should be 4x4s were 3x3s, etc. I may go back and make some of the boards thicker with brown treated wood. Roofing was nice though, and I do want to call out the hardware - it was especially good quality - nice layer of paint and galvanized hardware. After assembling, when walking on the floors or swinging, it really squeaked at first, but that has mostly gone away after a couple of weeks and some rain storms. I think it would be a good idea to check tightness of the hardware a couple of weeks after assembly. ... show more
