Great quality playset
Well worth the price!! Delivery was ahead of schedule.Everything lined up perfect, lumber was in great shape, I pre drilled anything that was not already done and had very minimal splitting that was not own fault. It took most of a Saturday with 3 to 4 fairly handy guys casually building about 10 hours with a few breaks. Instructions are pretty decent some spots are very easy-to-use install backwards of not paying attention to pilot holes. If I could grade quality and fitment better than 5 I would.

Instructions are okay
I worked on this about 4 hours each day. It has taken about two weeks to assemble. First note is the entrance to first level. It is getting cut off. I have hit my back more times than I can count. Structurally it serves no purpose. I suggest they redesign this section. Great for little kids; not so much for adults. You know the kids will want you to climb up!! I am not crazy about the posts stacking on one another. I will be buying brackets to reinforce. I think the directions could have been written clearer. For example: do the label numbers go in or out or doesn’t it matter. Putting the floor down was a challenge to get the bracket for center post to line up. When putting on slats for railing, who measures from bottom up? I measured from top down once I knew how much. Long review I know. Being a woman I laid everything out, read the directions carefully, looked ahead in book, I can’t see a man doing that!! Ha ha ha. Yes that’s stereotypical. I would suggest leveling your ground first. I jumped right in and feel it was a mistake. Overall I give the directions a B+. Diagrams need to be clearer. Good luck!! Have fun!! I would buy this again, now I know how to assemble!!

Beautiful and fun, but there are some flaws
My husband is very ambitious when he bought this large swing set for the kiddos. It arrived earlier than expected, and the shipping company had good communication and careful, which is a really nice bonus. Husband is very handy and took him two, full days to organize and assemble. There were some quality issues with the wood splitting when setting due to how dry it was, and the plastic telescope was broken during shipment. I will reach out to the company to replace. It’s a great looking set, and the kids really enjoy playing on it. The only thing we noticed is that when a child uses the ladder from level 2 to 3 (or vice-versa), there is a large window right there of the left, and someone could fall out (red circle). We decided to buy additional cedar to close more of that space for their safety.

My kids love it
It could of been packaged easier, it took almost 10 days to put together working on it a couple hours a day after work (i work a lot) during the weekdays and 1 day during the weekend by myself i would say roughly 30hrs (I'm a 5'1 90lb women with 2 young kids "helping") all i can say is to make it go 10xs quicker SEPERATE BOARDS first!! Organize them! It will save you so much time and frustration! Seriously trust me! Overall it was pretty easy to put together, i did have issues with holes not lining up like they were supposed to, and wood overlapping to where i had to shave off some to fit another piece. Seems pretty durable, i did have some one 150ish lbs on the to layer and didn't have issues, the swing did get creaky when i sat on it, but it works for kids, i have a 4 and 7yr old playing on it. I'm overall happy with the purchase

Great for kids
It is an absolutely beautiful addition to the backyard. I have had it a year. Some of the boards are beginning to split. We made sure to weather proof it when we assembled it. We did it as a team of three dads. We tighten everything up every week or so.

OK Playset - Relatively Easy Assembly, So So Value
This is an outstanding playset. It took about 4 days to assemble, working about 4-5 hrs per day. Follow the instructions and you will do fine. Boards were all marked, per instructions, except maybe two, but they were reasonably easy to back into what they should be. Instructions include diagrams of the boards. I assembled the whole thing myself, with a little help raising the swing beam and attaching it to the tower. If you have difficulty following instructions, then its probably best to hire someone to assemble it for you. I dinged one star because I felt the wood quality was, at times, below my expectations. In some cases, the boards could stand to be about 1/2" thicker. What should be 4x4s were 3x3s, etc. I may go back and make some of the boards thicker with brown treated wood. Roofing was nice though, and I do want to call out the hardware - it was especially good quality - nice layer of paint and galvanized hardware. After assembling, when walking on the floors or swinging, it really squeaked at first, but that has mostly gone away after a couple of weeks and some rain storms. I think it would be a good idea to check tightness of the hardware a couple of weeks after assembly. 1 year later update - As I mentioned in the earlier paragraphs, the wood is thin. Designed right at the bare minimum required to sustain weight. I've gone through a couple of times tightening hardware, and today, did a pretty thorough job tightening everything up. Swing brackets were all coming loose. I think the wood shrunk over the year. Thats to be expected, to a degree. I also went through and put construction adhesive on all the little 2' vertical boards to help stiffen the structure, because most of the short screws that hold those short verticals turn freely and cannot be tightened, a function of the backing boards being too thin. Some of the boards are splitting. I dropped my stars to two stars because of the crap lumber. If you really want a decent playset, with wood thick enough to hold screws well over the seasons, go with the Gorilla playsets.

Very nice playset Grandbaby loves it!
Grand baby loves this (3yo). It took three adults about a day and a half to assemble It’s well built and very sturdy. The assembly app is a huge help don’t try to skip using it. Our toddler and his neighborhood friends have already had hours of fun on this thing!

Very cool, very difficult to assemble
** update - the beam across the top of the swings has split from end to end 3 weeks after purchasing.. my kids are only 3 and 5 so I don't think they are swinging too hard. I've contacted Backyard discovery to see what they say. I love how tall this fort is, my kids love the third story, but it is a beast to assemble. It took my handyman and one other worker 3+ days of full time labor. Also with the height of the structure you have to be cognizant of safety measures in case of falls. Package arrived with some damage and some of the boards split during the assembly.
