I am so happy with how this turned out. I was a bit nervous about putting something together ourselves, but my husband and I did it very easily in an afternoon and spent the rest of the evening and weekend enjoying it. The materials are EXTREMELY sturdy. I feel very secure sitting on it, and have absolutely no concerns about anything happening to it with winds, weather, etc. I love the way it changed the backyard. It's such a great place to sit in the morning with coffee, sit in the evening with wine, watch the sunset, talk with a friend. I know we have a backyard patio, but this is just such a more soothing and intimate space, just begs for a close conversation or a quite reflective moment. We bought this to replace the one we had had for 15 years. Very easy to put together and looks great. Not sure if it was necessary, but we did put a wood protectant on it since it’s out in the weather. Would definitely recommend this swing.
