Great quality, adjustability. Don’t waste your money on cheaper options. This one has the slim connector that you need for a good flush fit. I had gotten a different cheaper option previously that had a full sized s-video jack, like how is that supposed to fit through the mounting hole? Waste of time and money. This camera checked all my boxes while still being reasonably priced.

I installed this camera, like many cameras before it. It didn't take me long to run it from the tailgate of an suv to the front stereo. Unlike every other camera I have installed, this one would not power up, no matter what I did. Voltage checked the wire I cramped it into. That wires good. This camera isn't. It wouldn't power up for anything. Connections are poor quality and it's basically a piece of junk.

This camera is made of metal and looks and feels substantial. The wire connector from the camera is actually smaller than the threaded mounting stem, which means you only need a small hole to feed the wires. That's why I bought this camera, the one that came with the new car infotainment screen required a hole twice as big. Fortunately, this unit has several features allowing you to adapt it to nearly any infotainment system. You can mirror the image, change the resolution, and more all by simply snipping certain looped wires, very clever. I ended up snipping two of them and everything just worked. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because once mounted, you can barely adjust the actual lens. It only moves about 10 degrees, I needed about 15-17 degrees. I could have figured out some kind of wedge mounting plate, but then I worried about leaks. So, instead of seeing straight back I now see more sky than I would want. I can still see the ground OK due to the range. This didn't come with a gasket so I used caulking instead. The camera quality is very good and the width of view is as stated.

The camera installed easily and works well. Initially I had an issue with the vehicle not displaying the picture. As it turned out my older display would not process the digital camera signal. Once I cut the green wire the picture displayed and it works well.

It's not a bad camera for the price but has some faults. Would likely give 3.5 stars but that's not possible. The installation is as expected and I had more than enough cable to route through the hatchback, headliner, down the A-pillar, and across the dash. From my experience with the install, HD video does not work with Ford's Sync 3. There are no settings so the only way to get an image to appear is to cut the green wire. Seems like other cameras work in HD mode but not sure what's up with my set-up. Night view is pretty grainy. Probably because of the lo-res view. It's good enough but could be better. Wires are difficult to splice into power and ground. I get that it's a low priced item but it's hard to secure 5 tiny stranded wires even with solder. It's difficult to properly aim the lens. When I first installed it, the picture was upside down. I was able to rotate the lens and secure it with the set screw but it wasn't easy. Probably need two people to help align it. It would have been nice if the manufacture put a mark for UP so it's easier to level the image. Lastly, and the biggest issue, is the bad fish-eye lens effect. I guess if I limit the view by pointing it down, it will be less of an issue but kind of defeats the purpose.
