I’ve used quite a few heating pads in my life, and several massage therapy devices, but this is my first time using something like this. I tend to carry tension in my lower back and I learned this winter that a heating pad does wonders to help me stay warm in my basement office, so ordering this was an easy choice. This product needs to be worn right next to the skin since the “massage” is provide via electronic stimulation vs. mechanical “kneading.” This is not a product for everyone - I think you either like the sensation or you don’t. I wasn’t wowed by the heating element but I do like the TENS-style stimulation (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)). ***Please remember to consult your physician to make sure this won’t interfere with things like pacemakers or insulin pumps.*** I’m thankful this is a cordless/USB rechargeable device but do wish it were Type C instead of micro-USB. At least it’s not a proprietary cord that you have to keep track of, which renders the product useless if lost. Much cheaper than a single visit to most chiropractors so I think the price is fair.
