I have severe degenerative discs in my lower back so I'm always looking for a good back brace. This one is ... meh. I feel like it is definitely more aimed at posture than back support. There are what feels like metal braces in the lower back part but they are thin & not enough to sufficiently cover, nor support, the lumbar area. Aside from that, my biggest critique is the shoulder strap design. They are *meant* to accommodate a good range of sizes/shapes which I appreciate but misses the mark in the level of difficulty it is to put this on. Even for someone like me whose arms are flexible enough to be able to bend & contort enough behind my back & touch fingers. For someone with more posterity issues, I can't imagine them being able to put on by themselves. The straps go from the front then cross between your shoulder blades & come back to the front on the other side & secure via Velcro, under your bust. This makes sense & sounds simple enough but in practice - trying to put the brace on - it's very cumbersome. The straps are not really reinforced with anything inside, it's just mesh fabric like you see on kids' school backpacks. Add to that, the Velcro on the end is very frustrating to get thru the shoulder blade pocket because it gets stuck & you have to fight to pull it off the fabric as you pull it thru the pocket. To its credit on that end though - the Velcro IS very strong & once properly in place, stay put. Once on, I felt like it did help with posture but I ended up taking it off midday & reaching for a different one. Overall: if you're mainly looking for help maintaining posture while sitting or doing light movements - this brace IS very comfortable & will likely suit you well. But if you're looking for serious support, I would suggest continuing the search.

This was sent to me not only visibly used but also stunk of chemicals! When I reported this, customer service didn’t care. This product says “comfortable to use;” but I would disagree as after I tried it on, it burned my under arms.

I'm so impressed with this posture corrector! First off, the quality is great, and I love the pink color—it's a nice change from the usual black and beige options. The design is excellent, with a highly adjustable fit that works for a wide range of sizes. I've used it myself, and it's also fit my 6-year-old, 16-year-old, and 18-year-old children perfectly. It's comfortable to wear, easy to put on and take off, and most importantly, it truly helps you maintain proper posture. Very difficult for me to put on and no matter how many times I adjusted it still no shoulder support as is what I need the most to stand and walk straight. I’m a 64 year old senior 158lbs 5ft5 tall if it helps those reading my review. I personally can’t recommend this product had to return this item.
