We got the 3XL/4XL brace. The inside straight supportive structure ends a few inches short of the edge so you might get poking. There's a picture of me bending the side edge down till it stopped to demonstrate this. We won't be using this in an 8 hr./day job like in our past, but its good to have these handy. There's no outward markings or branding, Its got a very minimal tag sharing the size. The tab that velcros the brace on it is 4" deep. The straps are removable. Husband notes (from past experience) "it not a girdle" the straps are NOT to hold your gut up". Background motivation: We've worked receiving in our past, and learned its nice to have your own back brace that fits right, and to refresh it. We are not small or young, We've learned about the gym late in life. We do help friends move and call that a workout. I've had an item change on me in the far past. At purchase this was called "Back Brace Lumbar Back Support Belt for Women and Men - Lower Back Pain Relief - Removable Adjustable Straps for Heavy Lifting Safety, Injury Recovery, Moving and Warehouse Jobs 3XL/4XL(45"-53")" This is a new product, so it's description may adjust to suit the product over time. I have a back issue and i use this when I need extra support. The suspender style is perfect as i can loosen the belt without taking it off all the way. It works well for me.

Although the price is nice, this support has some design flaws. 1st: it's very difficult to get on - i finally figured out if i flip it forward, and upside down, and throw the straps around me like the way my dad put on a coat, i could get it on . This is not good when you're having back pain. (Most people would wear this for "support" while doing any lifting, but in my case i also use it a lot when i'm having a lower back pain flare up, and i shove a blue ice pack under it; very handy trick.) 2nd: i don't think it's quite wide enough; maybe another inch would make it fit better. I find it won't stay in place, and slips up too often, making me tug down on it many times. There's something just not right about the way the straps cross in back; my old 1s cross, but work fine, and don't get me tangled up. I bought 2 and wish i had only got 1, because i'm going to have to get a different brand. I had 2 that were old and worn out, that served me very well for many years. So, i thought it was time to get new ones. Ah, well, I hope i'm the exception, and that most buyers will find this support okay.
