Features 7
- LEGACY: Vincent Bach was a rare combination of artist and engineer. He was constantly changing his mouthpiece designs until the mid 1960s when they became more standardized. The formalization of the 27 throat and backbore to cup letter (A=24, B=7, C= 10, etc.) created a standard for the mouthpiece making that is still used today. These standards are known today as the Classic Series.
- FIT: Because no two players have the same lip or tooth formation, what is perfect for one player may be entirely unsuitable for another. Bach produces thousands of different combinations of rims, cups and backbores so that each player can find the best mouthpiece for their individual embouchure. A mouthpiece consists of the rim, cup, throat, and backbore. Bringing these various components into proper relationship constitutes the art of superior mouthpiece production.
- CUP DEPTH: The medium cup of the Bach Classic Trumpet Silver Plated Mouthpiece Size 5C (Model 3515C) enables players to bring out that full, rich tone with relative ease. great for all-round use.
- DESCRIPTION: Produces a lively and rich tone, softer outer edge, quick response.
- DIMENSIONS: Cup: Medium | Approx. Cup Diameter: 16.25mm | Rim Shape: Medium wide, well rounded toward the inside and outside, fairly flat
- Allows for a greater range and better tone quality
- Great for intermediate players, 5C.
Description
Bach Standard Series mouthpieces are some of the most popular mouthpieces in the world among both students and professionals. Vincent Bach was a rare combination of artist and engineer. A mechanical genius and acclaimed trumpet soloist, his instruments and mouthpieces are used today in every major studio and orchestra in the world. Bach personally designed the tools and composed the plans that continue to set the high standards for making all Bach products today. "Choosing the perfect mouthpiece is often more difficult than choosing the perfect instrument. Your success as a musician depends on the choice of equipment that will do justice to your capabilities." -Vincent Bach
