  • Just Buy it Already! So Happy!
Size: BabyBuddha 2.0
Normally 3-4 oz per pump but immediately off the bat had a higher output. I have a spectra as well- change the bills and go through all the settings but never achieved the feeling of being “emptied”. The suction on this is unmatched and the wearability makes it even better. Finally feel happy with my pumping sessions. The silicone flange inserts are also awesome- no soreness from sharp plastic. So glad we pulled the trigger and bought this pump! 12/10 recommend! If you feel you need more suction without having to massage or add pressure while pumping- buy this pump! Actually hands free and powerful! Love! ... show more

  • My favorite out of all my pumps
I personally love how strong this is but I realize everyone is built differently. I have willow go, spectra s1, and modela harmony hand pump but so far I am loving the baby Buddha the best due to the suction strength because it gets that last little bit out to fully empty me in 10min! However, I’m not in my first week of pumping so I can see how it would have hurt quite a bit had this been my first pump. This is definitely a down the road pump on the breastfeeding journey (I’d say after maybe the first month). Willow go is nice for portability but it doesn’t do the job well and actually has caused me to have painful clogged ducts 3 times now, is annoying to clean and none of the parts can be sterilized, pouring the milk from it is difficult, and it is heavy and bulky so it falls down in my bra often. Also it is hard to see if you have it positioned exactly right on the nipple. If you don’t, no milk will flow and you waste a lot of time. The wearables like the willow go are made for use once your supply is established about 3 months postpartum because their suction is not as strong. This can hurt your supply if you use it in the beginning months postpartum. The spectra works better to empty than the willow go and has a stronger pull to help empty more out but it takes twice as long as the baby Buddha and just isn’t strong enough for me anymore. I have gained about 20% more so far with the baby Buddha. I also like the different type of suction pattern that the baby Buddha has where it does 10 short tugs and one long one for the stimulation mode. The downside is that you cannot adjust the cycle and vacuum independently like you can on the spectra. The most annoying part about the baby Buddha for me is that you can only order the original spare parts directly from their website (not on Amazon). They take 7 days to arrive and cost over $50 if you buy the flanges, bottles, and covers. [Update: they are selling some on Amazon now that I see!] I’m also having some issues with the rolling ball button on the pump as sometimes it’s difficult to get it to scroll to high levels quickly enough (especially at 3am) but I do like that there are only two buttons on the instrument for simplicity. This is still my main go to pump though by far due to its portability and strength. UPDATE: my supply had tanked last month so badly that I was down to only getting about half an ounce every two hours due to using the willow go too early postpartum and not pumping enough at night which was why I looked for a new pump and now am up to 2.5oz every 2hrs and it is increasing every day! I think it is because this pump is emptying me each time, signaling to my body to make more. This pump saved my supply! ... show more

  • Don't expect customer service to help
This pump has been amazing. I felt way more empty after a pump and I would get MORE in less time than my wall pump. The strong suction does take some getting used to. After a few weeks though you will completely adjust. However make sure you have the correct flange size. Before I had my lactation consultant measure me, I had too large flanges and let me say, I thought I was going to lose that part of my chest. I certainly am not up to the 45oz that you see on all the ads, but there was a great amount more. I bought the pump towards the end of March. In August I noticed there was a lot less pull that I could feel. I figured I was just used to it. Then I saw a large dip in my supply. I started watching and usually after 5 minutes, milk would stop coming out even though I only would have pump enough to cover the bottom of the cup. However when I hand expressed along with the pump, I would hit my normal 3-4 Oz each side. We thought it may have been the parts so I ordered all new everything besides the pump directly from the website. Was still having the same issue. I was remembered and placement was checked and it was all good. My consultant said the last thing there would be is the pumps suction is failing. Well since I am under a 1 year limited warranty, I read through all of the warranty language and saw they cover mechanical issues. Fun fact- they will find ANY reason not to give you a new pump. They want a video of the suction of the pump for their "video analyst". Although you could clearly see my finger was barley getting pulled in, they decided the pump was working perfectly. Then they referred me to their lactation specialist even though I stated I already have one and I am very well aware how to operate my pump. They stated I HAD to use theirs. I talk with her and explain what was happening and she still said that isn't problem with the motor then wanted to pump on a video call. I tried to explain myself once again and said I was absolutely not video chatting with some one I have never met or heard of. Still kept saying it wasn't a motor issue. Thankfully I purchased a protection plan. I contacted assurion and within literally TWO minutes they happily issued me a refund once they heard everything. My advise, absolutely purchased the service plan as customer service will find any reason to not abide by their warranty. So as much as I loved the pump, this is a 1 star for a complete train wreck with customer service ... show more

  • MY FAVORITE PUMP!!!
Size: BabyBuddha 2.0
I’ve been using this pump for a month now, and wow—it has worked WONDERS for my supply! I’m an exclusive pumping (EP) mom and started with the Momcozy M9s (which were awful and left me engorged). Then I switched to the Spectra S1, which was great and helped me build a freezer stash. But when I went back to work, I needed something as strong as the Spectra, and after tons of research and recommendations, I got the Baby Buddha—total game-changer! My stash grew even more, and now it’s my go-to pump. Now, I only use my Spectra if I forget my BB at work. If you need a powerful pump, I 10000/10 recommend the Baby Buddha! Pros: Portable: Small, lightweight, and comes with a lanyard. Strong suction Compatible with various flanges and cups. Cons: Short battery life: Lasts only 80-90 minutes but charges via USB. Too Strong suction: Even on the lowest setting, it takes getting used to— not ideal for sensitive nipples. Loud: Not discreet, louder than my other pumps. ... show more
