With 5-position shoulder height adjustment and 3- position crotch buckle for seat adjustment, the Trooper convertible gives parents the ultra convenience for installation and adjustment. The rear-facing recline flip foot also allows the Trooper to get great installation angles with ease. This car seat is really nice and small compact. It fits really nice in the middle of my seat in my s u v. I also like it because it also can go backwards. I have a one year old. So he can go backwards in this for still quite some time because of the weight limit. I had him forward facing to try it. And it's really nice fit front ways too. I like how it fits in the middle perfectly. Who doesn't stick out to bulky? When other kids have to sit beside or other car seat next to him. Definitely a good purchase. A couple days ago my husband was in an accident with my daughter in the car. This was the exact car seat she was in, she was rear-facing, and in the middle of the car. He pulled out onto a highway and was t-boned at 70 mph in the back 1/3 of his car, driver's side. Been around multiple times, and as you can see from the damage, it was totaled and a complete mess. My daughter walked away with the smallest scratch on her shoulder from the straps. This car seat is what kept her safe and from getting any injuries. The only downside I would say to this car seat is the pads that they included that went around the shoulder straps. They would always turn and get funky and that's what caused her to get. Those scratches was from her skin rubbing on the seat belt material. However, that's nothing compared to what could have happened. ... show more

Got this as a light weight space saver to switch between multiple vehicles. My child is rear facing so placement becomes an issue with taller drivers. Seat does not fit as well in the back bench seat of a truck due to the angle. Otherwise works great and can fit booster seats with it.
