I was super anxious about buying furniture on here and combed reviews obsessively for weeks. I think some of the bad reviews weren’t fair though because they were due to either shipping or what seems to be a manufacturing defect (in which case contact support and get a replacement?). Ultimately we got this plus a warranty to give peace of mind and I’m glad we did! We have had it and been using it with our baby about 3 months now and it’s great! Pretty easy and quick to assemble. My husband is about 6’, I’m 5’9” and we are so comfy in it. High back and I love the sides to rest my head on too for longer periods of time in the chair. Reclining system is nice, and only takes a bit of effort to close, nothing ridiculous like some commented on. Gliding is nice for getting baby to sleep. *The only negative I’ll say is the chair did have slight indentations on the arms like some other users commented on, and this must be due to packaging or shipping, so that could be improved. Also there was a dark grey mark on the chair. Almost like marker. Super hard to see and haven’t even tried to get it off. Still a bit odd though. All in all, the chair is great but some of the packaging may need improvement. ... show more

Very comfortable, not too bulky, looks great! Glider and recliner settings are great. My husband is a bigger guy and this works great for both of us. Color is a dark charcoal and fits anywhere. The closure of recliner requires a decent amount of effort and is a little loud but better than some others I’m sure. I would buy this again. I’ve had this chair for a couple of weeks now. I love the color of it, and it has a pretty small footprint considering we have a nursery that’s on the smaller side. Currently I’m 8 months pregnant and sitting down and getting up from this chair has proved easier than others I’ve tried in stores. The mechanism for reclining is silent and easy. The chair makes zero noise and I love the support wings on the side of the backrest. It’s comfortable to lean my head on either side which I know will be helpful once my little one is here and I begin nursing. I’m very happy with my choice overall and can’t wait to use it for nursing and bonding time with my baby! *4 years later* We still have this chair and now have 2 toddlers. This chair has gracefully withstood vomit, food, toddlers jumping, and hours and hours of rocking. There are some stains that won’t come out and the mechanism squeaks, but that should be easily rectified with a lubricant. The fabric has held up remarkably well for what it has been through and I anticipate that it will be around if another baby were to come. ... show more

A couple months of light use and the sides are already loose. Also, the leg rest is a pain in the butt to put back, requiring a bit of force, which is not ideal when you have a sleeping baby in your arms.

I’m pretty sure this chair is a knock off. It came in a box without any logos or anything, just a plain box. I check the entire chair & there is no tag or anything saying the brand. The back is hollow & uncomfortable. The fabric doesn’t fit tight & is loose after sitting on it once. The foot rest fly’s out very fast. Its awful! ... show more

I have a 6 month old and I'm in this chair a lot. It doesn't take up a lot of space in our tiny nursery (though I have to keep it closer to the wall so I can't fully recline unless I pull it away first) it is so nice to be able to pull a lever and have my feet up and lean back a bit. The wings save my neck (literally) in the middle of the night when I just can't hold my head up by myself. It only creaks when I really get rocking fast, and it's not a big deal...kind of distracts and sooths baby with its rythm. The reclining mechanism is forceful and to put the footrest down requires a kick which makes a bit of noise, but hasn't ever woken the baby as I get up to put her down in her crib. The fabric doesn't show spit up stains after a quick wipe. I'm happy with this chair. ... show more

Overall, it’s a nice chair. Pros: -It’s comfortable -The back is high, so taller people sit comfortably -Looks a lot nicer than a lot of other baby chairs. -the rocking/gliding works well and looks nice Con: The recline feature doesn’t work well at all. There’s a lever you have to pull to recline and then also use your hands to push back(which is very hard with a baby in arms!) then all of a sudden it pops out somewhat unexpectedly with a small degree of force (which started and wakens sleeping baby!) Maybe this works itself out over time, I’ve had it 7 months, and it’s been more heavily used since our child was born 3 months ago. I use the rocking feature much more than the recline, but to be the only con, it’s enough to drop 2 stars. The whole point is to use it with a baby, and I don’t recommend trying to recline with your baby asleep, it is almost sure to wake him.. which is what prompted my review. ... show more

Love this chair and the small footprint it has. Replaced our older more traditional recliner with this. So far it is wonderful. I like that it has a wooden base, that helps it be sturdy. Vacuuming it off is easy. I fit as well as I could hope, being 6'3". We bought this for my wife mostly though, and she loves it and finds it fits her well at 5'9". Great purchase and we find that this was a taller back and better fit for us than the ones at a more well known baby retailer, that's associated with a toy store. ... show more
