I really love the idea of doing my nails at home and saving a ton of money but I also love the simplicity of having someone else do them for me. I'll start by saying that I only gave 4 stars because the colors were off from what is pictured in the description. They're dull and not as vibrant. So, don't buy them solely for the colors. Also, the powder is SUPER fine which is great for a smooth finish but the little plastic cup they provide to hold the powder and dip your finger in is way too flimsy and has a lot of static electricity which makes it impossible to return the extra powder to the jar when you're finished. It also gets everywhere so be prepared to make a mess. I hope they improve that feature in the future. (The finger cup thingy) The process to apply is fairly simple and provides a nice, clean and solid manicure. I have a small residential cleaning business and my hands really take a beating. I have yet to find a polish or powder that can stand that kind of wear and tear but this stuff held up a bit better than the expensive acrylic overlay with gel polish that I was getting at the salon. I also bought the transparent dip powder with the gel glue resin just to use as a hardener and protectant to give my nails some time to grow during those times when I wanna go plain Jane and it is by far my absolute favorite. Especially because you can slap some gel polish on top when you need to quickly jazz them up a bit. The jar holds more product for a lesser price so the spillage isn't as frustrating. I would buy the colored dip powders again, while keeping in mind the colors I choose because I know they won't be as described.

Easier to apply than I expected, turned out amazing. A steal of a price being that this cost 1/7th of what it would for ONE manicure plus tip. (I did get the kit on sale though). I can get many many manicures out of this kit! After trying it on my thumb I quickly learned how to apply it best, which was not to really try to finesse anything, just apply as said and don’t try to brush off extra powder or anything, that will just smudge it. After activating you can brush off extra without smudging. It turned out beautifully, now I just need to see how it holds up! Only down side was the base was so strong it occasionally would make my eyes water, but only a few times in the process. It must’ve wafted toward my eyes a few times or something.

These powders are so pretty! I love each and in every one of them. The package comes with everything you need from the powders, to the liquids to the brush and even a little dip dish. They’re so easy to use as well, and for such a great price. 10/10.

The colors are accurate is pictured in the photos and the kit is great quality. Some people have commented that the top coat takes too long to dry. I only did two layers and it was dry in the same amount of time as it is at the salon. Maybe two minutes. I’m completely satisfied with the product and would recommend! It’s great quality, lasted about two weeks before I soaked off and re did them.

My budget dictated that it was time to start doing my nails at home. I'd had good luck with dip in the nail salon so decided to try it. The kit and the colors were nice and I wanted it to work. The process of putting it on is fairly simple. I was able to do both hands in about 15 mins. Love that there is no dry time between coats. However, the major flaws I found were that even when I would cover my nail with the base and then dip there were areas the powder wouldn't adhere to the base. After two or three dips I could mostly cover it but it never looks great. The sparkly colors worked best for me, maybe because you don't notice streaking or uneven coverage as easily. My biggest complaint is that unlike salon dip these chipped almost immediately. I would put it on in the evening and by the next day I'd have chunks missing from each nail. I decided to try a home gel set I found on amazon instead and have been much much happier. Its easy to put on, I can finish my nails in the same amount of time or less compared to the dip and it really dose wear well. I've only gone about a week between changes because I want to try all the colors, but I am much happier with the gel than I was with dip.
