Perfect for the price, good size and honestly way better than the competition. I'm grateful that they send 1 extra pen just in case. I love them and there were perfect for my father's day gift for my church.

I ordered these AZEN black gel pens to use at work since I am always without a pen when I need one the most. Being click-style retractable pens, they are perfect for me as I keep multiple pens in my pocket most times. They're a pretty standard design, but they seem to do that design pretty well. One press of the rear button extends the writing tip while a second click retracts it. So far, they have been great writing utensils. They write smoothly and don't seem to have any ink smearing once dried, which is great for me since I drag my hand across the paper a lot while writing. The pocket clip is tight and holds the pen securely in your pocket. Each pen also comes with a rubber grip at the base, which helps keep the pen properly positioned while writing. The only thing I really had a complaint about was the removal of the tip cover before a new pen can be used. There is a small dot of a red silicone-type material used to protect the ballpoint while in the packaging. When I attempted to remove it from the first pen I used, it came off in pieces. I thought it may have just been a one-time thing, but then the second pen had the same issue. So did nineteen of the first twenty I tried. A minor inconvenience and definitely not a deal breaker.

Good quality/price

I liked the idea of having a large pack of pens for everyday use, but the performance didn’t quite meet my expectations. The pens arrived sealed with red wax, and removing it was more difficult than it should have been. Once opened, I found that the writing experience was inconsistent. The ink flow wasn’t as smooth as I expected, and they didn’t write as nicely as other gel pens I’ve used. The comfortable grip and retractable design are nice features, and having 100 pens in a pack is convenient for keeping them around the house, office, or classroom. However, the main purpose of a pen is how well it writes, and that’s where these fell short for me. Overall, these are an affordable bulk option, but I wouldn’t choose them for journaling or situations where smooth, reliable writing is important. They are okay for occasional use, but the writing quality could be improved.

These AZEN retractable gel pens deliver reliable everyday performance in a big 100-count pack that’s ideal for offices, classrooms, or anyone who goes through pens quickly. The 0.7mm medium point lays down smooth, consistent black ink that writes cleanly without much skipping or bleeding on standard paper. Each pen has a soft rubber grip for comfortable longer writing sessions and a sturdy pocket clip for easy carrying. The retractable design helps prevent accidental marks in bags or pockets, and the bulk quantity makes them a practical, cost-effective choice for note-taking, journaling, or general home and school use. While they’re not premium-brand pens, they offer good flow and durability for the price—perfect if you need a large supply of dependable black gel pens without overspending.

I picked up this gel pens because having a few extra pens around the house and office always seems to come in handy. The packaging is simple, with all 100 pens neatly packed together. The rubberized grip feels comfortable in the hand, and even after a longer writing session, my hand doesn’t get tired too quickly. The clips are sturdy enough to attach to a notebook or pocket, and the retractable design is convenient since there’s no separate cap to lose or worry about. The 0.7mm medium point is a very practical size for everyday writing. The black ink comes out smoothly with a clear, consistent line that isn’t too thin or too heavy. I’ve used them for notes, marking documents, journaling, and general writing, and I haven’t had issues with skipping or scratchy starts. The ink also dries reasonably quickly. As a left-handed writer, I appreciate that it doesn’t smear too easily as my hand moves across the page. On regular copy paper and notebook paper, the performance has been reliable. Show-through is fairly well controlled, especially on thicker paper, where there’s very little visible on the back. They’re the kind of simple, dependable pens that work well for schoolwork, meeting notes, journaling, or keeping in a desk drawer. The 100-count pack is probably my favorite part. I can keep some at home, some in the office, and a few in a bag without worrying about running out anytime soon. The ink capacity is decent for everyday use, too. A few pens may have slightly different ink flow or a somewhat different tip feel, but overall, this is a practical bulk pack of comfortable black gel pens for everyday writing.
