Just want to start out by saying we got two after reading the reviews about how narrow it was - and I'm really happy we did. Two makes the perfect width for both of us to sit across from each other - there's absolutely no way we could have with just one. The table itself is surprisingly stable and good quality, and looks even cuter in person. I love the shelves for extra storage. Before purchasing, I knew the stools would be wonky after reading all the reviews - and they definitely are. For reference, I'm 5'2" and ~115lbs, and the seat even feels too small for me, and they're too tall for the table with me sitting on it even. Not to mention one of the sets of stools came with the wrong parts so we couldn't even put them together - good thing we only wanted to use two! This being said, I'm ordering different stools to use eith the table - and I'm going to toss the stools that came with it. Glad I knew what I was getting into before I ordered, otherwise I would have been pisseddd! Wish I could have ordered just the tables without the stools lol. The tables are perfect, just not the stools.

One positve, it is pretty. Amazon really made this appear as it was something else. One, please don't call this a "dining" set, One plate barely fits, so forget dining for two! This table is so narrow, what do you use this for??? The stools are so tall and small it leaves you feeling like you have a giant *** and your going to fall off the stool any second. Sit and balance. Look closely at the Amazon photos, all items placed on this "table" are shrunken. The stools are photo shopped to make them appear a foot shorter then they are...like I said when you sit on them your sitting on stilts. The only thing I'm happy about is that I bought this used, still a complete waste of money. Why don't I return it, because it took 3 hours to put together!!!!!! Pay attention to the measurements!!!!

My intention for this table and chairs were to have a place to eat it but the stools are too high and make you slouch over… definitely a bar table. For $50 return I’ll keep it. It’s a beautiful piece, took me and my father 1.5 hours to put together, easy instructions and smooth assembly. It’s a bronze gold more than a bright so it worked out perfectly with my color decor. I am asking my handy friends if they would cut the size of the stools to make it work for me.
