We have a 40 gallon fish aquarium which is located in front of a window. Floor space is at a premium, so it was the best spot. That being said, the sunlight caused the algae to grow faster which caused additional cleanups of the tank. We hope the background photo will help block some of the light. As we just received the background it is still to early to tell, but we are hopeful. We are impressed with the product and think it added an additional 3-D look to the tank. The photo did needed to be ironed to remove the wrinkles but it was no big deal to do so. Shipping was quick and price was reasonable. Putting on the tank was easy with two people helping. Has great colors but too large has to be cut back to make it fit the back. Doesn't have any stickiness you have to tape it on. It is very thick so should last a long time

If you have a 75 gallon or higher with larger fish this would look better. If you have smaller fish the image is too zoomed in making the plants look too large.

This is fabric, not plastic like you could get at the pet store. It is very durable but there are folds in it initially which you will need to iron out or just wait for them to relax. It comes with just a few double sided tape squares that worked great. If you want more than that you will need to provide. Great price. Would buy again. ... show more

Package appears to have been opened and previously returned. I knew from the description that this was printed on a fabric-like material but should have read all the reviews. First, the image quality is terrible! It is blurry and the magnification is unrealistically large; white specks throughout the print where the color is missing, and dark ink blots in other places. Second, even if the print was good, the packaging is ridiculous. The background should be ROLLED in a tube, NOT FOLDED a dozen times into a 6x9" rectangle! There are a dozen very deep creases upon creases that cannot be removed. I do not recommend this product as there are better options available. ... show more

The sticky tape that was supplied with the backing didn't work at all. I had to use some clear packing tape to attach it to my aquarium. Other than that it was fine.
