I got this as I'm disabled and I needed something easy to work with. I'm amazed at how fast it can heat water to a boil and the included steamer is a huge plus. It's perfect for rice, soups, and seafood, but it's hot enough to stir-fry veggies and meat or even scramble eggs. And it's so light to carry I eat right out of it. It's uses are many and clean up just can't be any easier. Good for single or double portions. It's non-stick i recommend only wood or soft plastic implements. This thing cooks quickly so don't turn your back on it until you are comfortable with it. But I can cook everything from breakfast to mac and cheese, soups to hamburger helper. I got this because my stove isn't working. I purchased the pink model and it's pastel pink which is a relief... Pros: Great size for one or two people. I've made ramen, mac & cheese, eggs, (canned) beans with white rice (rice cooked in the pot), etc. It boils water quickly enough for me (about 6 minutes, covered pot). The little metal steamer is a nice feature. It's easy to make simple one pot meals for this retiree. Uses less wattage than my microwave. The outside is plastic but it barely gets warm to the touch. Cons: Would be nice to have a "warm" setting. Rice sticks if you aren't careful, then it's impossible to simply wipe clean as instructions advise if burned to the bottom. Also the plug should be on the opposite side instead of near the handle (makes it difficult for a right-handed person). Tiny little feet on bottom are NOT non-slip so be aware... All in all I would recommend. Probably worth about $10 less than it sells for but I enjoy the ease of it. ... show more

This product is very easy and straightforward to use. I do wish they had more than two temperatures to cook. For example, have low, medium and high and I do notice that after a while the design on the front starts to rub off other than that it’s a pretty cool pot.

I’m very pleased with this, though I was concerned when I first opened it. I received a different appearance with a large word under the cat picture, which is not the look I wanted. It’s very light, and the steamer basket feels cheap when you first pick it up. There were some major translation errors in the little user guide, but it was understandable and straightforward. I have it a chance, expecting the worst. But it works so well! It heats quickly and the steamer basket is easy to use. The handles on the steamer basket don’t get too hot, and the exterior of the hot pot has only gotten faintly warm while I had it boiling for half an hour. There wasn’t any odor, but I did wash it thoroughly first. It’s easy to clean. The basket and lid are straightforward, and the hot pot itself is small enough to carefully wash and rinse without getting the bottom wet or dropping it in the sink. This is precisely what I needed for my tiny kitchen, and I’m so happy with it! ... show more
