These universal garage door openers are a game changer. It is super easy to install especially for an older person. My absolute favorite thing is just pushing the close button. It closes right away no need to put in code .. I am a happy camper

    • It takes 2 or 3 steps to program. Just follow the directions and it will work.
Very easy to install and program. This replacement fit the mounting point exactly the same as the original one. It was easy to program and works good. The price was less than half of a universal button pad from a local retailer. It looks the same and works the same as the original unit.

Worked on my old Chamberlain garage opener BUT when I updated to My Q smart opener, it didn't work

    • Works sort of like old one once you have the correct setup instructions
Would give this higher stars but there are 3 issues. Number 1, if the garage door is open you must enter the 4 digit code and hit enter to close it. Old one you just pressed enter and it closed. Number 2, I almost returned this as it would not work no matter what I tried only to discover that the instruction that came with mine were slightly different than what are in the last picture on here. Once I tried those directions it worked. Number 3, you have to press the enter button pretty hard to get the door to open or close unlike the original. Not happy with that. Cant give a 5 star rating with oversights like that. ... show more

Easy to program following the instructions. The hardest part was opening the battery compartment- a coin was the best "tool" for prying it open. It is working great, and the price was a fraction of the OEM keypad. The only feature it doesn't have that my original keypad did, is the ability to close the door by only pushing the enter button- you have to enter the passcode first. ... show more
