I first ordered this brace from Walmart, never got it and WM refunded money. Then I got a personal note from Bogdana, Aveston founder, apologizing for mix-up with the WM brace, which she enclosed at no charge. I am 79, with spinal stenosis and feel like my "tent pole" has been yanked out. This brace provides the support I need. My midriff is shorter now and the support fits between my boobs and waist. Bogdana's product insert says she designed this brace after giving birth and not finding a brace that fit. Thank you, Bogdana, for this brace. I highly recommend specifically for women.. For reference, I am 5'2", 195 lbs, wear 16-18W pants and am pleased with the Large brace. I now have three!

Bought it for back support, what I love the most about it is it covers a large surface area, I don’t feel like it’s digging into me like the ones I had before. And it holds really tight, I feel supported and no pain.

The fit was good, and it did seem to help when I wore it to work. Only thing is was that it would slide up under my breast and when I would sit down, then have to reposition it and pull it back down when I would stand up. I wore it under my clothes so it was against skin. Probably might be better to wear it outside clothes, so that the clothes might help hold it better. Don't really know, or just wear it for a little while. I wore it all day long. My back felt better the next day, so I didn't wear it again. Hopefully won't have to wear it again, unless just while doing something I need a little extra support, for what I am doing.

I shopped a long time, trying to find the right brace to help ease my back pain. Sadly, this one was a disappointment. The first issue was sizing. I purchased according to the size chart but it was way too small around. The other issue was the velcro... oh my goodness, it was so tight I couldn't even get it separated and had to have help! I know you need it to cling well for a secure fit but it shouldn't take two people to get in on and off! I did like the removable pad. It is firm but flexible and easy to insert for extra padding and comfort. Overall, I cannot recommend this back brace.

Maybe the best back brace for the money. I've tried dozens over the years. The velcro wears out on every single one over time. This one will probably as well but the price makes up for it-buy 2. The shoulder straps disconnect easily if you want just the belt. I wear waist 38 pants and x-large is the right size for me. The first one i bought was xxl and that is better for a 40" waist or more.

Just received the lower back brace and it’s advertised with a removable lumbar pad. This did not come with the lumbar pad. Getting ready to return it. I want to amend my review. I was contacted by the owner of the company to correct their mistake. Today I received the lumbar pad, and my wife is trying it out. She has serious back issues and we will see over the next couple of weeks how this is helping her. Stay tuned !!!!
