I bought this for my college apartment, figuring it is a decent price for a basically throw away mattress. I bought the firm because I sleep better on a firm mattress rather than memory foam. It was easy to get onto the frame, doesn't slide around and is so comfy that if it lasts for at least two years, I will buy another. It took about a week for it to fully inflate. There was no odor when unwrapped. The only issue seems to be that late at night it gets hot from body heat, but I move around a lot, so that doesn't really effect me too much. It also tends to flatten out (not a divit, just a flat spot) by morning where I lay, but by bedtime it's all fluffed up again. For reference, I weigh less than 130# and am short. I recommend it, at least for short term or intermittent use. ... show more

This bed has been a godsend for me. At first, I was skeptical to buy a foam mattress because I like the firm feeling. I like to feel like I'm sleeping ON the bed instead of IN the bed. I read online that a hybrid mattress may be a good choice for side sleepers like myself, and so far it has been a great choice. I didn't let it inflate over 72 hours as suggested, but I don't feel like it affected much. The bed is not quite 12 in deep as advertised, but again that was fine with me. I purchased this for my guest room but am probably going to order one for my room. Very impressed with the quality, firm but has plenty of cushion to support. Everyone who has slept on it so far says it’s great! Also the thickness is nice too. No smell out of box and expanded almost right away.

Finally! After 2 years of agony on several very expensive med firm mattresses I figured what the heck I will order this inexpensive mattress that sounds like what I want/need. I do not like memory foam as I feel like I'm in a hammock. I have lower back pain and always thought I should sleep on a fairly firm mattress. But I also had both hips replaced this year and needed softness and gentle comfort. I realized I needed a pillow top on coils that would support me where I needed but not be too hard.
