This is the first mattress I've ever bought and I'm happy with my purchase. It looks nice and is great for sleeping alone if you move around a lot. I've noticed that when I have more than just me in my bed it's so squishy we fall into each other and get kinda stuck throughout the night. There should be a large warning tag on this mattress. We were cutting it open slowly as it’s vacuum sealed. About half way through maybe a little more, the rest of the plastic ripped through and the mattress came flying out. It happened in seconds and it threw me back. Since I was sitting on my legs/feet I strained my foot. I was out of town helping my daughter move and had a hurt foot for several days. Very troubling packaging! No odor, I was worried about the smell when I received it. The bottom is spring. Also does not make a sound. Lie on very soft and comfortable, feel like sleeping in a hotel kind of bed. This coil / foam hybrid mattress is super comfortable and has alleviated my neck and back pain I had from my previous memory foam mattress. This mattress is a nice medium firm and the gel top is super comfortable. I’ve been able to feel better rested when I wake up in the morning and can sleep less and still feel like I got more than enough sleep.
