Our daughter moved back in with us after a divorce and brought a bed with her. She used it for about a year before stating that it was hurting her back. One look and we were stunned she used it at all. The mattress was beyond its days. I went looking for one that was affordable for her, since her income is limited and found this one. Based on the reviews, we decided to go for it. It arrived fairly quickly and although heavy, it was not so heavy that I couldn't carry the package myself (I'm a female, 54 years old, 5'2", 110lbs...just for reference). She was working a night shift and my husband works swing. I admit to being an "I'll do it" kind of person and since this needed time to sit, I did just that. I packed it downstairs myself after I got home from work and set it up for her so it would be ready when she got off work. Now, be aware, this is vacuum sealed, so when opening you want to be very cautious. I took my time removing the plastic and tape so that it would unfold slowly rather than bust open and cause damage or injury to anything and anyone around it. Success! I was able to slowly unravel it and place it on top of her box spring without anything or anyone getting broken. After she got home, she made her bed and when she woke up the next morning, she marveled at how comfortable it was. Granted, she could feel the springs in her last mattress so almost anything would be better, but she was really impressed with the quality given the low price. It's firm yet not so firm that it feels like she is sleeping on boards. She says she doesn't toss and turn as much and she doesn't feel the mattress move when she does. She's had it for close to a month now and she is sleeping well and feeling rested. She's very happy with it. We'd both recommend.
