Our daughter moved back in with us after a divorce and brought a bed with her. She used it for about a year before stating that it was hurting her back. One look and we were stunned she used it at all. The mattress was beyond its days. I went looking for one that was affordable for her, since her income is limited and found this one. Based on the reviews, we decided to go for it. It arrived fairly quickly and although heavy, it was not so heavy that I couldn't carry the package myself (I'm a female, 54 years old, 5'2", 110lbs...just for reference). She was working a night shift and my husband works swing. I admit to being an "I'll do it" kind of person and since this needed time to sit, I did just that. I packed it downstairs myself after I got home from work and set it up for her so it would be ready when she got off work. Now, be aware, this is vacuum sealed, so when opening you want to be very cautious. I took my time removing the plastic and tape so that it would unfold slowly rather than bust open and cause damage or injury to anything and anyone around it. Success! I was able to slowly unravel it and place it on top of her box spring without anything or anyone getting broken. After she got home, she made her bed and when she woke up the next morning, she marveled at how comfortable it was. Granted, she could feel the springs in her last mattress so almost anything would be better, but she was really impressed with the quality given the low price. It's firm yet not so firm that it feels like she is sleeping on boards. She says she doesn't toss and turn as much and she doesn't feel the mattress move when she does. She's had it for close to a month now and she is sleeping well and feeling rested. She's very happy with it. We'd both recommend.

This mattress is a lifesaver! It is firm, but also soft. It is light enough to carry around when needed. Also quite versatile. The appearance is actually quite modern. You don’t end up syncing into the bed, which is really nice too. It is extremely comfortable and has helped with my sons back pain. Would definitely get again.

Felt like the springs were exposed, no cushion. We were lucky that Amazon was able to provide a return with refund on an open mattress because there was no way to fit it back in the original packaging. If you do end up needing to return, keep the plastic sheeting as the delivery staff cannot pickup without a cover (hygiene). I hope this helps.

As this mattress is very big and a value it is very hard and most definitely had to buy a topper my son was upset he tossed out his old mattress for this one ! Do not buy this mattress unless u wanna sleep on a brick! I wouldve sent it back if my son didnt throw the box away before i got home!!! Im disgusted with this purchase and now i cant even get another one right away because i cant get a refund!!!! !!!!!!! Luckily they sale nice soft toppers ! Also I really doubt this is 10inches looks more like 8

I got this as I am living in a furnished studio apartment that came with futon. I got sick of sleeping on a futon so I got this to put under my futon. I don’t have the space to store the futon so hence the stacking. The mattress is about 9 inches in reality. Between the two mattresses I have no issues with pressure points or feeling springs but I do have a second mattress (albeit it a very thin and awful one) on top of it. It was a pain to unbox by myself in a tight space and get the box up the stairs by myself but wouldn’t be too bad with 2 people or with more space.

I was skeptical about a mattress in a box, but we got it. Box weighed about 100 lbs. When unpacking make sure you have ample room. When mattress unfolds it unfolds. It has metal springs inside mattress not just a cheap piece of padding. I weigh 210 lbs. and it supports myself and wife comfortably. It is FIRM. no sagging anywhere. Best nights sleep I have had in awhile.. I got the 10 in. Great product.. You can't go wrong with this product.
