I rarely use conditioner now with this. Only a Vitamim E oil prior to drying and after drying. This has been great during chemo. Its gentle and hydrating without harsh chemicals. The smell is like fresh laundry, but not too strong. My scalp has been a little sensitive but this feels so good on it!

I have had issues with balancing the ph in my hair. I have tried everything! I decided to try this because, I figured, it couldn't hurt. Well with each wash my hair finally feels clean on the first day. Now, I still have oily effects on the second but I have hope, FINALLY! No itching, and Clean on the first day is So much better than what I have been experiencing with any other shampoos that "claim" they help with Ph balancing. Clean and gently washes! First off, I have very fine, straight hair. So, I like shampoo that doesn't weigh my hair down or have any oils mixed into it (argon oil, etc). This shampoo is okay (for me). It does not weigh my hair down, it leaves it soft and shiny, and it doesn't leave a residue on my scalp. However, it does dry my scalp out too much. I find myself distracted by scratching at the dry scaley patches it leaves on my head. I also am not a big fan of the strong cotton-blend scent. I mean, who doesn't love the smell of clean laundry? But, when it's so strong and associated with my hair, it's just a weird experience. Overall not a bad shampoo. It's worth the money, as it is still a good quality shampoo. ... show more

I’ve been shopping for an inexpensive, good smelling and good quality shampoo that’s sulfate/ paraben free FOREVER. So glad to find one I like. Would be great if I could buy shampoo a La cart- cause who uses shampoo and conditioner at the same rate? No one. Ah well. Can’t have it all.

This is the best shampoo that I can find that is relatively "clean" with a rating of 4 on EWG, that also is affordable and actually does a fantastic job! I recently had my sister-in-law over for an extended stay for a couple days and she asked if I could share my shampoo/conditioner with her that she used while here because it made her hair so soft. Also, my hair dresser asked what I was using as well when she felt how soft my hair was when I sat down for a trim just about 2 days after I started using it. My hair is fine but on the thick side in regards to volume and it doesn't weigh it down. I prefer the scent more for laundry than my hair but its a clean scent and i'm hesitant to try a different scent because this one works so well. ... show more
