We went with this bike because my 10 year old was shorter and could not reach the ground on the more common bikes I see kids riding. This one was smaller but still maintained a similar look to the others. The photo in comparison is a TST R002 on the right hand side. It has bigger tires also. It leans on the kick stand but when it’s level it is way higher than this bike. I ordered the blue version. It arrived before the scheduled delivery date which was a big plus because it showed up the day of his birthday instead of three days after it. I put the bike together without any issues. When I opened the box the staples used to seal the cardboard cut into the seat. I sent pictures to the seller and they sent me a new seat quickly. He was able to use the bike while we waited for the replacement. The new seat was solid black with no blue writing but it will work all the same. I ordered an extra battery from the website. I cannot figure out how to get a hold of the owners of this company. We have only had the bike for 2 months and the charger no longer goes into the battery so the bike has become unusable. My son loves the bike but I would not recommend it because the battery already doesn't work and at $500 to only have a bike for 2 months is unacceptable. ... show more

The size worked great for me since I'm around 5'4. It's a ton of fun and perfect for when you want to feel the wind blowing past and breeze by the car traffic at your own pace. I'd consider the price to be fair for all the features it has: the horn is pretty loud but that could be life saving when you're in a bike lane next to cars. So far the fastest I've got on it is 21.8mph. Definitely a good idea to get a helmet and practice at lower speeds before going full out. The battery life is reasonable, I'm able to make commutes 3 miles away and back and still have some battery life. It's like how you need to charge your phone, or anything really- the more you use it, the more often you'll have to charge it, so find a convenient place you can keep the charger plugged and ready near wherever you store the bike. Overall I'm really glad I ordered this bike. The pink color ties it together. I had some frustration about the setup because a couple parts of the assembly it came in from the box either didn't match how they were presented in the instructional setup video, or parts were sealed way too tightly so it was difficult to do independently and became a two person job with the help of my dad and his tools. This was resolved with their friendly customer service team who really took my criticism in stride and shared that they will make sure to update the instruction and adjust the packaged assembly more accurately so buyers can better assemble the bike. It's a chore, but that's the way it is when you buy stuff like this online instead of in person. I can say now though after several thrilling uses, it's WELL worth the build. I knew all of the positive reviews weren't for nothing, glad to have followed through on this one. ... show more
