Like most (all?) online bikes, there is quite a bit of assembly required. The instructions are sparse but have pictures and cover everything except tuning, which a local bike shop or a few youtube videos can help with. It comes with a 2-sided wrench with both sizes needed, and a few sizes hex drivers. The biggest hassle was not the buildng, but getting all the components out of the box and all the foamwrap padding off all the parts. A low bar makes this bike much easier and safer to straddle with short legs, though the seat does not go as low as some other bikes. The mount holes in the lower bar allowed us to install a bottle holder, but the spacing between the bottom and top bars means we can only fit thin bottles in there. Not a fan of the single gear in the front as it makes climbing hills so much more difficult being stuck on what is essentially 2-1 gear, where many 21 or 24 speed bikes make hill climbs substantially easier with 1-2 or 1-1 gears. Overall the bike is light enough to lift, but now with a low bar, we needed to buy a removable mount bar to allow us to put this bike on our car hitch rack.

UPDATE: The vendor support team responded and generously offered full reimbursement for all repair costs incurred to get the bike working properly. After a local mechanic serviced it, the bike rides beautifully—it's smooth, easy to pedal, and my wife absolutely loves it. It's also impressively lightweight, making it easy for us to carry up the stairs. I'm updating my rating to 5 stars based on both the bike's excellent performance after the repair and the vendor's outstanding customer support. Attached photo is after the tune-up. Initial: Both the front and rear wheels were misaligned and wobbly, causing the brake pads to rub against the rims and making the bike difficult to pedal. I ended up having a local bike shop mechanic repair and tune up the bike.

I ordered this bike because of the low step through height according to the specifications I thought it was 15-17 inches. When I assembled the bike the step through height was 21 inches which was too high. The seller sent a diagram which indicated I had misread the specifications. I encountered difficulties in the return process. When the seller learned of my frustration they worked with me to resolve my concerns. The bike arrived on time was easy to assemble and if not for the size issue would have been a fun ride and good value.
