Good basic bike for daily use. The assembly directions that came with the bike did not match the directions from the website. I was impressed the bike arrived without a scratch or nick during shipping. Be prepared to make some adjustments to the derailleur and loose chain.

The bike is great, I love it… It has name brand shimano gear system and the brakes work good once you get them tuned up right. All in all I would definitely recommend!

    • Weird shifting, too tall for 5'3" person

I am 5'3" and bought the 17" S size and even with the seat at the lowest setting it is difficult for me to comfortably touch the ground. Also, the brakes needed quite a bit of adjusting after I assembled it so I had to take it to a bike store and pay extra for them to adjust the disc brakes. I found I am not a fan of the disc brakes and even after professional adjustment, I don't like how slowly they stop the bike compared to standard pad brakes. Lastly, I don't like the gear system very well, and it's pretty janky. Having to press a button to shift up and a switch to shift down is weird, and it's oddly reversed on the other handlebar, so I have to remember which side is the button to shift up and which side is the lever to shift up. It's very weird and I have never seen a system like it before. I would not get this bike again and would not recommend it. ... show more

I bought the bike for girlfriend for Mother’s Day and so far she’s used it for about 2 miles, but it was very easy to put together and adjust all the parts. The quality of the bike and frame are very nice, the shifting system is smooth out of the box. So far very happy with the purchase! I am used to riding and working on high end bikes. For the price I am impressed with what you get. If you ride 100 miles a week, you will want something better. If you want a decent bike to ride on occasion it great. Brakes work fine, better than side pull or cantilevers but not as good as hydraulic discs. Took me a couple hours to assemble but I also adjusted the hubs, took apart some preassemble items to grease. Torqued all the bolts. Shifting was prefect out of the box. ... show more
