To have a firm self standing carrier make sure the zipper flap with the little pocket on it is zipped up with the other side open. I am using this to bring kitty to the vet for the first time. So far she loves sitting or lying in it and even brings some of her toys in there.

It arrived and was as stated. The airline was really busy and I told them it would fit! When I got in the plane the carrier wouldn’t fit under the seat! Luckily I faked it and pretended that it fit! The stewardess wasn’t paying allot of attention so we were ok. It was great for the drive just NOT the flight!

We have several carriers for our multi cat household. This is the best overall. We also have a backpack style, this works better for large cats and long trips. The expandable sides are great if cats are hanging out for a while. The sides on this particular one pop out so they stay expanded more easily than our other similar carrier.

Perfect little set up for my kitty. I have to take him to work with me and this carrier fits perfectly under my desk and has plenty of space for him to stretch out and sleep. It also works great for the backseat! Just open it up and tie the side straps down with seatbelts and your little one will be nice and comfy.

I spent this summer traveling with my cat! Something I never thought I would do and wasn't sure how it would work out. I found this carrier to be exactly what was needed. The fact that the sides open up and expand and are vented worked out nicely for my cat. I had to sign my back seat on top of suitcases and a pillow and other traveling things, so that I could open the sides and she could spread out and look outside. The many zippers allowed me to be able to reach in and pet her from time to time. Our longest travel stretch was about 8 hours. I did put a little weewee pads down on it to protect the bottom, which worked out because then I just tossed them and the carrier remain clean. Honestly if you're traveling with a cat or even just going to the vet, this is an ideal solution!
