This is a heavy well made solid cover for a great price. Is it as good as a Peragon. Or Xtang or backflip? Time will tell about durability. It’s very easy to install. The locking mechanism is novel and so far has kept the cover secure. I like the idea of a cotter pin to enhance safety. Not as easy as some to open but not bad.

The packaging is very simple and first couple steps of install are easy. I suggest watching the video that’s on the product page. An area that’s not mentioned on the product page is that if you have an existing hard plastic bed liner, you may need to trim some sections of it because the latches need to adhere to metal of the truck, not the liner. Speaking of latches, it comes with one replacement latch. The plastic latches themselves are ok but the metal lag screws are cheap. I bent a lag screw on initial install and ended up just using the whole replacement latch. In the upcoming warmer months, I might see if I can replace all lag screws by going to ACE, Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc. The installation time took me about an hour because I’ve never installed a tonneau cover and the directions were kind of plain with basic visuals. That evening after I installed it there was snow and rain, the cover did it’s job and prevented either from entering the bed. Overall, it’s a decent cover for paying roughly a quarter of the price for mainstream covers like Weather Tech (approximately $580). A great addition to your truck with some minor flaws.
