My headlights are the originals that came with the truck (2011 GMC Canyon) and they looked terrible. I tried using the all the cleaners they keep advertising but, they only would look good for a couple of months and then I would need to perform the procedure again. So I decided to look on Amazon and found brand new light assembly for all four and at a very reasonable price (I couldn't believe it was so cheap). And after watching a few videos on what it took to change them out, I decided to give it a try. I could be more satisfied with the results. They look fantastic and it didn't take long to replace. These headlights fit and work perfectly in my 2005 GMC Canyon. They are beautiful, shiny, new and very bright in reflection from other cars. This order comes with headlights and turning signal lights (bulbs not included). The installation only requires a 10 mm socket wrench. I watched a how to video on youtube prior to purchasing which helped a lot with expectations. Installation is easy, however, only because I watched the video from A1 auto. You have to remove your entire grill cover (front end) to get to the headlight replacement. As mine was a 2005, and it is now 2017, I purchased a new grill in case it was brittle and broke when I removed it. There are clips on the grill cover that can break or be lost while removing (and replacing) it so be careful as they are the only things holding the cover to the truck. ... show more

These were easy to install and based on others reviews I silicone sealed them before installation. The only issue I have is the top passenger lens won't stay in. The clip is different than the drivers side so I had to attached it with a self tapper which normally wouldn't be a big deal but on this vehicle the top lenses are mounted to the grill, so if the grill is attempted to be removed without first removing the screw, damage is going to occur! ... show more

Pros: These lamps are less than half the cost of OEM replacement parts, look great on the truck, work perfectly, and were fairly easy to install as I took my time doing it. They've meet my expectations fully so far. On a mechanical skill level of 1 to 5 (1 being no skill) you'd probably have to be a 3 to install. See online videos. Cons: Biggest problem is that the male-type compression clips in the outboard corners of the narrow turn signal bodies due not snap securely into the truck body, and therefore rattle in place. I remedied this by first drilling a 1/4" hole into the thin truck body panel directly behind each lamp. I then secured the lamp by running a nylon zip-tie through the lamp clip and then the 1/4" hole. Lamp is solidly secured now. Maybe the picture will help. This is why they didn't get a five across the board. As suggested by previous buyers I also ran a bead of silicone across the top of the lamps before installing to help keep water out. Lamps are lightweight compared to original equipment but who cares as they look great, work great, stand up to normal use, and are inexpensive. Important Note: Order some grille retainers along with the headlight set. You will need them. I used the Hopeyfiy 10 X Grille Retainers. You'll have to remove the vehicle's plastic grille to replace the headlights. It's easy to do but most likely you will break several of the retainers, and will want to replace some of the old brittle ones that are not broken - particularly if your pick-up has some age on it. Grille is held on with 10MM screws. I found a 1/4" drive socket with 4" extension worked really well. I took about 3 hours to install the headlights, but could do it in 30-45 minutes the second time. Allow some time, take it slowly. It's really not that much of a hassle. Overall, keeping in mind the price, I am highly pleased with this set and would buy them again in a heartbeat. ... show more
