The gist: excellent candela, genuine difference between low beam and high beam, probably waterproof, I see better and other drivers see me better. The details: The candela on this light is amazing! My previous aftermarket headlight ((different brand)) is MUCH duller than this new one ((see below for comparison process)). I can't speak to the water resistance or moisture level as I have not ridden in the rain, nor have I washed my motorcycle since installation. That said, I had to leave the wires outside the housing since I had to modify my bike to make this work as it isn't made specifically for my bike, so I did wrap the wires and connectors really well with electrical tape; I'm sure it will be fine, but if there are any issues, I will update. To test my previous headlight vs this new headlight, I stopped at a location with flat ground at roughly 4:15am. I made sure that the sign in the distance was lit up by the high beam and took photos to show the candela of the previous headlight. I then replaced the headlight and did the same thing at the same time in the same location the next day. As you can see, with the HWStar I was twice as far away from the sign when the high beam lit it up, and the light casts almost twice as wide as well. The previous headlight barely had a difference between low and high beam, but the HWStar shows a stark difference between the two. I've ridden to work in the dark twice now and I've been cut off way fewer times than before. I believe this is because people can actually see my headlight and have an easier time gauging the distance between my bike and their car. Purchased for 2022 Triumph Street Scrambler 900 ((must purchase 7" housing ((sold separately)) as the original housing for this bike is slightly larger than 7")). Previous headlight was the best affordable headlight I could find that fits inside the stock housing. ... show more

One oof the headlights quit working after a few days, never heard back from either the seller or Amazon. I am revising my review of this product to 5 stars. The seller contacted me and sent a full replacement promptly, I love these lights, they are so much brighter than the crappy stock headlights. The seller offered me a full refund but I just wanted them replaced because I like them so much. He was very accommodating and promptly sent a replacement pair. Headlights are nice and bright, barely fit in my car but they did fit with no modifications. Buyer beware if your older vehicle uses a double ground switching system these will need an H4 relay harness which will make them work as intended. Once I have them adjusted I will update this review.

Huge upgrade from the previous cheaper lights I had gotten (gifted through a friend). You can really see the “z line” while driving, and I barely have to use my brights since the lights are already so bright. Super easy installment, just plug and go.
