There’s plenty of room for a heavy sweater underneath and it’s roomy but not sloppy looking. It sits a little above my hips but I have a long torso! I got the orange and I will say it is very bright but I like bright colors! The color does match the photo but I did check with my husband to make sure I don’t look like I belong on the freeway construction crew; he says no! I’m very happy with this vest and I’m waiting for the price on the maroon one (WHOOP) to come down. I got a great price on the orange one!
